[HagiMatsu Yuri] Dating for a Day

[Genderbent from birth, GL: Hagiwara Kenji x Matsuda Jinpei. Unconditional comments on every chapter are open. A perfectly sweet little treat.]

Synopsis:

The day Matsuda Jinpei transferred from the Bomb Disposal Unit to the First Investigation Division was the unluckiest day she could remember since starting work. Her alarm failed, her food was expired, the train was delayed, and she arrived late. Then the division she was supposed to transfer to changed its mind at the last minute, and she was assigned to the First Investigation Division, a department she'd never imagined herself working in.

Of course, the worst part was that her father, with whom she had a strained relationship, finally relented and asked to meet her and her perfect girlfriend.

The problem was, she'd made the girlfriend up.

She'd never been in love and had no partner, and she couldn't admit she'd made the whole thing up just to pick a fight.

But Hagiwara Kenji, the senior partner assigned to her as her mentor when Matsuda Jinpei transferred from the Bomb Disposal Unit to the Violent Crimes Division of the First Investigation Division, perfectly matched the lover she'd invented.

They decided to pretend to be a couple for one day, briefly bringing the love story Matsuda Jinpei had made up to life.

Matsuda Jinpei thought that perhaps all the bad luck of that day had been leading up to her meeting Hagiwara Kenji.

"Sakamoto Yuji said in Quartet: 'Confessions are for children. Adults should go straight to seduction. The first step of seduction is to abandon your humanity. Basically, there are three tricks: become a cat, become a tiger, or become a dog caught in the rain.'"

"As it happens, we're both adults."

Note: 1. Hagiwara Kenji x Matsuda Jinpei. They stay in that order. Both are genderbent from birth, and are female in both body and mind.
