Cen Run'an felt that his boyfriend, Kou Fengxuan, had been acting strange lately. He assumed work was stressing him out, so he kept looking for a chance to talk with him.
But when the door opened, the first person he saw was Kou Fengxuan's company boss.

The tall, handsome man stood casually outside, his presence cool and imposing. He held up a brown envelope in his long, strong hand, his voice deep and magnetic.

Xi Shengzhen had been about to give up, on the principle that a gentleman doesn't take what another man loves. Then he turned around and found out his employee was cheating.
He sat up straight at once.

Kou Fengxuan thought his boss was a truly generous man. Not only had he given him advice, he had also tried to reconcile him and Cen Run'an. Once they made up, he'd be sure to thank his boss properly.
So he went to see Cen Run'an on his birthday to get back together. But when the door opened, he saw his boss, Xi Shengzhen, standing there. His eyes instantly reddened, and he cursed, "You bastard! Cen Run'an is my boyfriend!"
The man wore a bathrobe and looked down at him with a faint smile, his thin lips parting. "Shh. Keep your voice down, please. You're disturbing my sweetheart."
