[Mainly Touken Ranbu] My Swords Came to Life

"I'm Imanotsurugi, Lord Yoshitsune's sword of protection!"

"Hizamaru, one of the Genji heirlooms."

Shanaou is horrified to discover that her beloved swords, Imanotsurugi and Usumidori, are talking!

They're alive!

Does that mean her elder brother's Higekiri and Benkei's Iwatooshi are alive, too?

In any case, before going to war against the Taira, Shanaou becomes a Saniwa.

1. The heroine is Shanaou, a gender-swapped Minamoto no Yoshitsune. She is the heroine of the otome game Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei and its fan disc. The title alone tells you it's a Genpei love-triangle battlefield. [Laughs]

2. All Touken Ranbu fan fiction shares the same universe.

3. A crossover with Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, and perhaps some other series too.

4. Five supporting characters are the game's male love interests. Of course, the male leads are Shanaou's beloved swords! [Emphatically]

5. To be decided.

6. Blurb saved: October 30, 2025
