Lin Xingye discovers that he is living inside a book. In the story, his Beta childhood friend, Huo Linzhou, will soon differentiate into an S+ rank Alpha.

In the future, Huo Linzhou will pursue a newly transferred Omega classmate. When his love goes unrequited, his heart will become twisted, turning him into a supervillain. He will eventually lose his entire family fortune and die by the gun, while Lin Xingye is nothing but a cannon-fodder character in the story, not even given a name.

Lin Xingye scoffs at the idea. An ordinary person who differentiates into a high-rank Alpha at seventeen is one in ten thousand.

The next day, his childhood friend differentiates.

Lin Xingye: ...You've got to be kidding me!

But that isn't a problem. At least no new students will transfer in during the hectic second year of high school.

On the third day, a new Omega transfers into their class.

Lin Xingye: ...

With his breathtaking looks, the Omega quickly becomes the talk of the entire grade. And from what Lin Xingye can see, he's very interested in Huo Linzhou.

Lin Xingye is horrified. He decides to keep a close eye on the Omega to stop Huo Linzhou from turning into a villain, and sternly warns Huo Linzhou: "You're not allowed to like Omegas. Not a single one, got it!? Studying comes first!"

Huo Linzhou licks one slightly pointed canine, letting his gaze circle twice around the beautiful, fair neck of the person across from him. "Got it," he replies.

Huo Linzhou has been in a foul mood lately. Ever since a certain Omega transferred in, Lin Xingye has been hanging around him every day. He even stopped eating lunch with Huo Linzhou.

Huo Linzhou: ...You've got to be kidding me!

Before he can get rid of the Omega, he discovers that he has pheromone sensitivity. Specifically, any Alpha entering their rut affects him, while even the most appealing Omega pheromones make him feel sick.

Huo Linzhou is plagued by splitting headaches over this, until one day he discovers that the scent on Lin Xingye can relieve his symptoms.

Xu Sui is a high-rank Omega. He came to this world under the System's instructions to guide the male leads, both good and evil, toward their endings. Huo Linzhou is this world's great villain, and he has only just differentiated. It's the perfect time.

Xu Sui plans to use his Omega advantage, releasing pheromones to draw Huo Linzhou's attention. But something bizarre happens: the moment he releases them, Huo Linzhou rushes to the bathroom and vomits violently, takes five shots of suppressants, and warns him to stay away from Lin Xingye.

Xu Sui: ...You've got to be kidding me!

Of course, he knows Lin Xingye, Huo Linzhou's Beta childhood friend, is a potential threat to his mission. Xu Sui hasn't yet figured out how to get rid of him when Lin Xingye approaches of his own accord, sharing firsthand gossip about Huo Linzhou:

"That Lao Huo is a total player. He sleeps with three people in one night and won't even acknowledge them the next morning."

"Don't let his decent grades fool you. He gets up to all kinds of shady stuff behind people's backs: going to internet cafes without paying, mugging people on the road, and extorting popsicles from kindergarten kids."

Lin Xingye seems to have a serious problem with his childhood friend. At the end, he pats Xu Sui on the shoulder and advises him: "Dude, open your eyes and take a good look at him. What's so great about him? Don't waste your life on him and fall into his trap!"

Xu Sui is half pleased and half doubtful. He's pleased because Huo Linzhou really does have the makings of a villainous leader; he even dares to mug people. But he doubts it because the story is still at an early point, and Huo Linzhou isn't supposed to go astray yet.

Until one day, Xu Sui sees through a crack in the door as Huo Linzhou secretly steals Lin Xingye's underwear.

Xu Sui takes off running and grabs Lin Xingye, trembling. "Aaaaaah! You were right! He's a pervert! Aaaaaah!"
