Ye Tingyan smiled. “It's my first time pretending to be gay. Please be gentle with me.”

The little screenwriter, Chengzi, thumped his chest. “Leave it to me!”

Their families were caught completely off guard, and the two hurried through the chaos to register their marriage.

After they moved into their new home, Yu Cheng gradually realized that he and his new roommate, Ye Tingyan, got along pretty well. Life together became more and more comfortable.

There was just one thing he couldn't quite get used to:

Ye Tingyan had to hold him while they slept every night.

Yu Cheng thought it over, then figured it out:

“Skin hunger, right? I know all about that!”

Lin Xingye discovers that he's living inside a book. In the story, his Beta childhood friend, Huo Linzhou, is about to present as an S+ Alpha.

In the future, Huo Linzhou will pursue a newly transferred Omega classmate. When his love goes unrequited, he'll become twisted and turn into a supervillain, eventually losing his family fortune and dying by the gun. As for Lin Xingye, he's just a cannon-fodder character in the story, not even worthy of a name.

Lin Xingye scoffs at the idea. People who present as high-ranking Alphas at seventeen are one in ten thousand.

The next day, his childhood friend presents.

But that's no big deal. At least no new students will transfer in when they're this busy with their second-year studies.

On the third day, a new Omega transfers into their class.

The Omega quickly becomes the talk of the whole grade thanks to his stunning looks. And from what Lin Xingye can tell, he's very interested in Huo Linzhou.

Lin Xingye is horrified. He decides to keep a close eye on the Omega so Huo Linzhou doesn't turn into a villain, then sternly warns Huo Linzhou, “You're not allowed to like Omegas, any of them, got it!? Studying comes first!”

Huo Linzhou runs his tongue over his slightly pointed canine and lets his gaze linger twice over the beautiful, fair neck of the person across from him. “Got it,” he replies.

Huo Linzhou has been in a foul mood lately. Ever since that Omega transferred in, Lin Xingye has been spending all his time with him. He even stopped eating lunch with Huo Linzhou.

Huo Linzhou: ...You've got to be kidding me!

Before he can get rid of the Omega, he discovers that he has pheromone hypersensitivity. Specifically, when any Alpha enters their rut, it affects him, and even the nicest Omega pheromones smell nauseating to him.

Huo Linzhou is plagued by splitting headaches until one day he discovers that Lin Xingye's scent can ease his symptoms.

Xu Sui is a high-ranking Omega. Following the System's instructions, he comes to this world to guide the male leads on both sides toward their destined endings. Huo Linzhou is the world's main villain, and he has only just presented, making this the perfect time.

Lin Xingye seems to have a serious problem with his childhood friend. In the end, he pats Xu Sui on the shoulder and advises him, “Honey, open your eyes and take a good look. What's so great about him? Don't waste your life on him and fall into his trap!”

Xu Sui is half delighted and half doubtful. He's delighted because Huo Linzhou really does have the makings of a villainous tyrant. He's already bold enough to rob people. But he doubts it because it's still too early in the timeline for Huo Linzhou to have gone astray.

Until one day, Xu Sui sees through a crack in the door as Huo Linzhou quietly steals Lin Xingye's underwear.

Xu Sui bolts, then clings to Lin Xingye, trembling. “Aaaaah! You were right! He's a pervert! Aaaaah!”
