Don't Pretend You've Lost Your Memory in Front of Me

[Reunion after a long separation, fake amnesia, primarily from the bottom's perspective]

Proud, hot-tempered puppy-like top x Pretends to be obedient and gentle bottom

Lu Zhi x Ji Ruan

Six years ago, the young heir of the Ji family, Ji Ruan, and the young heir of the Lu family, Lu Zhi, went from childhood friends to lovers. Ji Ruan was domineering, sharp-tongued, picky about food, and a total handful.

Everyone was afraid of him, but Lu Zhi doted on him, and the two were blissfully in love.

Lu Zhi thought they would be together forever, but Ji Ruan suddenly broke up with him and vanished without a trace.

Six years later, Ji Ruan has become a nobody in the entertainment industry, and his company entrusts him to the industry's top-tier star, Lu Zhi. Lu Zhi refuses without a second thought:

"Me, take him on? Dream on!"

*

Ji Ruan then joins an obscure little variety show that supposedly involves farming and cooking in harsh conditions. When Lu Zhi hears about it, he scoffs. "Suffering? Does he even know how to handle that?"

A few days later, Lu Zhi makes a surprise appearance on the show, becoming a spectacle in his own right.

*

But something strange is going on. Ji Ruan seems like a completely different person: obedient and gentle, and he doesn't even speak up when people bully him.

Lu Zhi is so anxious he grits his teeth, and stops him. "Why didn't you fight back? You used to be so good at it."

To his surprise, Ji Ruan looks completely bewildered and says, "Mr. Lu, have we met before?"

That's when Lu Zhi learns that Ji Ruan has amnesia.

*

Faced with his former lover's drastic change in personality, Lu Zhi spends every day torn between confusion and anger.

But a person can control their actions, not their heart.

When Ji Ruan comes out of the shower in a white shirt, appearing right in front of him,

Lu Zhi has to admit that he's still tempted.

"Maybe I should pursue him again. He was so easy to win over back then." "Maybe it's for the best that he's forgotten. We can start over."

Only this time, Ji Ruan doesn't seem so easy to pursue.

Ji Ruan has a secret.

He's been pretending to have amnesia all along.
