Jiang Yizhen never thought he had accomplished anything particularly remarkable during his time as the Demon King. Once, when he was bored, he played the savior of the world, then sealed himself away along with it and slept for a thousand years.

When he opened his eyes again, the world had changed completely. He was now an undocumented modern-day resident with no identity. Not only had he lost all his demonic power, he also had to pass an assessment by the Three Realms Supervisory Bureau to obtain legal status.

Before the little fox could get angry, the usually upright Officer Qin was the first to lock him up. Furious and disbelieving, Jiang Yizhen cried, "He would never treat me like this!"

Qin Wu knelt by the bed and said, "That's because he was only your owner."
