Everyone, the Apocalypse Is Here. I'm Out of Here First

Shen Yuanzhao was doing what she always did: setting up her stall, packing it away, and dodging the city inspectors. She saw a shooting star streak across the sky and wished to become fabulously rich.

Ask and you shall receive. She dreamed she had become a billionaire, and woke up laughing.

But all she could see was desolation.

The only thing left in her home was a bed. Downstairs, a crowd of passersby, their faces covered in blood, writhed around.

Shen Yuanzhao thought she had stumbled into some kind of prank, but only accepted reality after nearly getting bitten by a zombie. Yesterday's shooting star hadn't brought wealth. It had brought the end of the world.

In 2075, Blue Star's world order was already on the verge of collapse. Rising sea levels had submerged countless lands, and the arrival of a meteor dealt the world another devastating blow.

The zombie virus spread, water sources were polluted, cities were destroyed, and the systems that made daily life possible were utterly shattered. One crisis after another swept over the world.

After countless hardships, Shen Yuanzhao escaped to the nearest Second Science Base, but its towering walls barred everyone from entering.

She heard that the person looking down at them coldly from the top of the walls was named Yu Baili.

She said humans who weren't strong enough were not allowed in.

She said humans without skills were not allowed in.

She said humans who couldn't contribute were not allowed in.

These three ironclad rules kept thousands of people outside the base, facing the oncoming zombie horde.

Shen Yuanzhao fought the zombies with every ounce of strength she had, holding out to the very end. The wall in front of her opened, and Yu Baili and her subordinates came out to meet her.

The blood-soaked ground stained the hem of her clean trousers red.

She held out a hand to Shen Yuanzhao, who lay on the ground panting like a dying dog, and said in a calm voice:

Welcome to the Second Science Base.

Shen Yuanzhao used her hand to get up, suppressing the hatred in her eyes as she thanked her.

But in truth, staring at Yu Baili's haughty face, she thought:

One day, I'll kill you.

Shen Yuanzhao x Yu Baili

Both heroines are crazy and selfish, complete lunatics with rock-bottom morals.
