I Live in Spring Mountain

Qi Yin lost both her parents at a young age and was taken in by Xu Qingru's family.

Xu Qingru was five years older than her. She received an elite education from childhood, was always composed, and kept a certain distance from everyone.

Yet she was also the one who held Qi Yin's hand and walked her to and from school, protecting her every step of the way and making sure she never suffered the slightest injustice.

When she turned eighteen, her heart full of affection, Qi Yin confessed to Xu Qingru.

That night, Xu Qingru pressed her fingers to her brow and scrutinized her. In a cold voice, she said, "I only keep canaries by my side. Are you willing to give up everything to become a bird?"

Qi Yin's heart went completely cold, and she fled in a panic.

For five whole years, she didn't dare go near Xu Qingru.

When they met again, Qi Yin had become a famous painter in their social circle. She had a bit of a connection with everyone and got along with them all. The only time she acted obedient was around Xu Qingru, keeping her distance and never going near her.

Even though she thought she was just making friends, the difference in their backgrounds still made her a target for everyone's casual advances.

One day, she left a bar arm in arm with a rising business star. A discreet Porsche Cayenne was parked outside. The young businessman approached with a broad smile, and through the half-lowered window, Qi Yin saw Xu Qingru's cold face.

"Where are you taking my little sister?"

That was the first thing Xu Qingru had said in five years.

Not to her.

Xu Qingru couldn't understand how the flower she'd raised herself could sink so low.

When she heard the news, she hurried over. In the dim car, the girl's face was radiant and alluring.

Xu Qingru stared at her for a long time, then asked, "What are you doing?"

Qi Yin smiled. "What it looks like. Just making friends."

Xu Qingru rolled up the window, her gaze dark.

Her fingertips brushed over Qi Yin's lips, reddened by another woman's kiss. In a soft voice, she said, "Show me how you make friends."
