Opening the Coffin to Find My Wife

[Delicate, pampered, aloof yet warm-hearted bottom VS scheming, dark, unhinged older top] Modern ghost hunting, established couple, episodic story

The Demon Lord Su Yin lost her powers in a great battle and fell into a thousand-year slumber. When she awoke, she found herself inhabiting the body of a student who had just started university, also named Su Yin.

In this modern world, there were no ghosts, demons, monsters, or cultivators. There was only technology, making life better.

Su Yin thought she would spend the rest of her life peacefully in the modern world. Then her reckless roommate dragged her into an outdoor exploration livestream. There was a supposedly haunted house, a woman in red who appeared from nowhere, and an evil spirit that fed on people's vital essence...

Just as everyone thought they were about to die, Su Yin beat the ghosts and monsters until they vanished into thin air.

And, true to her motto of being a good and upstanding young person, Su Yin told the people watching the livestream:

"It's all fake. Believe in science."

Just as Su Yin thought it was all over, a special department took the whole group into custody. Su Yin took one look and realized how strange: the department's director was none other than her ex-wife, Qin Baishuang, the Supreme Immortal Venerable who had sealed her away for a thousand years.

She curled her lips into an innocent smile. "Hello. I'm just an innocent university student. I don't know anything."

A proper ex-wife should be as good as dead.

.

Su Yin didn't want to see Qin Baishuang, but then there were miraculous pills that could make people pregnant and give birth, a popular celebrity who wanted to defy fate, a school haunted in the middle of the night...

Qin Baishuang greeted her with a perfectly straight face. "Hi, fancy seeing you again."

Su Yin: "I'm single. Not interested."

After Su Yin and Qin Baishuang solved one paranormal case after another, Su Yin found herself completely entangled with Qin Baishuang. She was forced to move into Qin Baishuang's house, forced to share a bed with her, forced to eat the food she cooked, and even forced to cultivate dual cultivation with her...

This was all getting out of hand! Everything was getting out of hand!

And Qin Baishuang, once the lofty Immortal Venerable who had run her through with ten thousand swords, lowered her head before Su Yin and pleaded humbly, "A Yin, would you go out with me?"
