Half asleep in the middle of the night, he heard a key slide into the lock.

Qi Yu sat bolt upright and eyed the doorway suspiciously.

Then he saw the familiar figure: Lu Xingye.

He pursed his lips and lifted his chin, looking annoyed. "What do you want?!"

Lu Xingye leaned against the doorframe, raising an eyebrow at Qi Yu's theatrics. He let out a cold laugh. "You."

It was all because he was a die-hard protagonist fan who gave the supporting characters tragic storylines involving ruined families, betrayal by everyone they knew, and unrequited love.

Chi You froze, then looked up to apologize. "S-sorry."

But only after they started living together did Chi You realize that, apart from looking like that male supporting character and having the same birthmark, the cool guy's personality was completely different.

The muffled groans that inexplicably came from the next room in the middle of the night, the knife marks that appeared on the inside of his arm, and the alarming purple bruises around his waist.

Later, Chi You casually asked, "If your enemy were standing right in front of you, what would you do to him? Haha, you're so fierce, you'd definitely force him to apologize, right?"

Xie Jin paused for a moment, then smiled. "I'd make him wish he were dead."

At this point, did they really need to keep pretending not to know the truth?!

Chi You packed his bags in the middle of the night, but just as he was looking for his ID, he heard the door lock.

He turned around stiffly and saw Xie Jin standing in the dark, his head tilted slightly and a chilling smile on his face. "You figured out who I am?"

To save his own skin, Chi You didn't hesitate. He rushed over and hugged him tightly, pretending to sob. "Brother, you finally came to see me."
