Chi You is a popular newcomer author of BL comics, and lately he's received countless private messages congratulating him on being reincarnated.
"Author, just die already. What did the male supporting character ever do to you?"
"Don't draw comics in your next life, short-lived ghost."
That's because, as a die-hard protagonist fan, he gave the supporting characters tragic storylines: their families destroyed, their friends and relatives turning against them, and their love going unrequited.
Looking at the comments, Chi You casually replied, "Well, he's more popular than the protagonist."
The next day, after staying up all night to finish a deadline, he went downstairs to buy breakfast. His blood sugar dropped, and he accidentally bumped into the cool, handsome roommate who had just moved in, before they'd even had a chance to introduce themselves.
Chi You froze, then looked up and apologized. "S-sorry."
Before he could finish, his sharp eyes caught a small, unusually shaped red birthmark behind the cool guy's ear.
Oh, right. The tragic male supporting character had the same birthmark behind his ear.
The shape and color were identical.

But it wasn't until they actually started living together that Chi You realized the cool guy was nothing like that supporting character, aside from his looks and birthmark.
After they'd spent some time together, he even began to suspect that his cool roommate was treating him like a wife, always agreeing to whatever he asked.
He even offered ideas whenever Chi You ran out of inspiration.
Xie Jin pointed to the villain's storyboard on the drawing tablet and smiled. "I don't think it's cruel enough. This ending lets him off too easily."
Chi You: "Exactly! You get me!"
But why did every injury Chi You gave the villain end up appearing on his cool roommate?
Strange muffled groans came from next door in the middle of the night. A knife wound appeared on the inside of his arm for no reason, and a shocking purple bruise showed up around his waist.
Later, Chi You casually asked, "If your enemy were right in front of you, what would you do? Haha, you're so fierce, you'd definitely make him apologize, right?"
Xie Jin paused for a moment, then smiled. "I'd make him wish he were dead."
At this point, was there any reason to keep pretending to be clueless?!
Chi You packed his bags in the middle of the night, but as he searched for his ID card, he heard the door lock.
He turned stiffly and saw Xie Jin standing in the dark, his head tilted slightly and his smile chilling. "You've figured out who I am?"
To save his own life, Chi You rushed forward without hesitation and hugged him tightly, pretending to sob. "Big brother, you finally came to see me."

Sticky notes written by his roommate were posted all over the house.
"There's food in the fridge. Don't order takeout."
"Don't stay up too late. Your health matters."
"The milk is in the microwave."
What he didn't know was that the same sentence was written on the back of every note.
"I wanted to kill you again today, but I couldn't bring myself to."
