My Boyfriend Is Chrollo

"Expected to start in mid-to-late 2027. Please bookmark me =3="

My name is Sesi. I'm an ordinary bar singer in a port city.

Before typhoon season arrived, a distant relative I barely knew asked me to take in a young man who had come to the city for work.

His original name was Kerik, but after meeting me, he said he'd already picked out a new name for himself: Kuroro.

His name didn't matter to me. Anyway, I took him in.

He was nice, considerate, and talkative. He did the housework and helped me tidy up. He had no bad habits, and was surprisingly well-read.

Sometimes, when I looked at him, I felt he shouldn't be working odd jobs here. He ought to have a much bigger future ahead of him.

But he didn't seem interested in that sort of thing.

Every now and then, he would say something strange.

"Sesi, you actually have an incredible ability."

"I don't."

"Sesi, maybe there's something inside you that even you don't know about."

"I think you've read so many books you've rotted your brain."

"..."

"...Are you mad?"

"Nope ^_^"

Then why did you stop talking?

I really don't understand him.

Kuroro is just that kind of strange person.

Sometimes I think he's too talkative and overly poetic, but I actually like him quite a bit. I hope he can stay here forever.

But obviously, that's impossible.

On a rainy night, before everything changed, he had been reading when he suddenly asked me, "Sesi, would you be interested in leaving here and taking up a more exciting job with broader horizons?"

"No, but if you're leaving, remember to pay me the rent you owe."

He looked up at me and said seriously, "I'm not leaving."

So serious. So sincere.

But I knew he was lying to me.

Just like he'd lied when he said his name was Kerik.

*Just writing for fun. Some scenes get a little dark.

*OOC. This is my version of Kuroro. No writing advice, please. Maybe it'll have an open ending.

Theme: Falling in love.
