Don't Pick Up an Augmented Human on a Whim

I got home after a party at three in the morning and ran into a monster attack. After narrowly escaping with my life, I took in a cyborg who didn't belong in this era.

He said he had lost his memory. He only remembered that he came from the future and needed to find an important person who would change the world, but all he could recall of the target's name was its final syllable: CHEN.

It matched my name.

I figured I was the person he was looking for, so I took him in.

We squeezed into my tiny rental. The bed was too small for the cyborg, and he didn't really need to sleep anyway, but he would lie beside my bed like a person, like a little dog.

I thought he was a gift from heaven.

I fell in love with him.

But later, the cyborg gradually regained his memories, and the way he looked at me changed.

It turned out I wasn't the target of his mission. It was someone else.

Once the cyborg realized who his real master was, he abandoned me without mercy, as if kicking away a dog.

You lied to me.

I hate you.
