That Taoist Is Fierce

Cute little snake x cold-faced young Taoist

Luyi is a little green snake on Maoshan. She hasn't gained spiritual awareness and is devoted to lying flat. The three things she does every day are eat, sleep, and go to the Taoist temple to watch people get beaten up.

There's a young Taoist who often gets beaten for killing demons indiscriminately.

The long whip lashes his body. In summer, sweat soaks through his clothes; in winter, it freezes to ice.

Still, he keeps killing until not a single demon remains within a hundred li of Maoshan, except for foolish little animals like her, who have yet to come to their senses.

Luyi is quite content to remain ignorant. She only wants to be a little green snake for the rest of her life. She has no interest in becoming a demon, nor does she want to cultivate a human form.

Until one day, the young Taoist is beaten again.

This time, his master seems to have lost his temper. Not only does he beat him, he also plans to send him far away.

"To sever your murderous intent and help you attain the Way, I have decided to convert a demon to accompany you today and bind the two of you with a life-sharing talisman. If you hurt her, you will both die."

Luyi shakes her head over and over behind the leaves, wondering which unfortunate demon is about to suffer that fate.

The next moment, the old Taoist flicks his horsetail whisk, and a force drags her out...

The green snake hits the ground and transforms into a stunning woman.

Luyi: "?"
