Tackling That Honest Guy with Glasses

[I've written too much historical fiction and need a change of pace. This will be free while it's serializing, with no paid chapters, so I can't guarantee daily updates.]

Low energy x seemingly frigid (not really)

Bai Zhizi had worked at the company for two years, and could name fewer than three of her colleagues.

The man sitting across from her was the design team's leader. He wore a slightly parted, textured crop that covered his eyes, black-rimmed glasses, and had pale skin. He was tall and slim, and didn't talk much.

In two years, she hadn't even gotten a clear look at his face. She'd always called him "Glasses Guy."

If nothing unexpected happened, "Glasses Guy" would be just another so-and-so in her life, as sexually unappealing as all the other male coworkers with their stomach-soothing vibes.

Then, in the second month after her breakup, at a company dinner, Bai Zhizi accidentally splashed wine all over Glasses Guy's face.

She watched him take off his glasses, wash his face, and push up his bangs, revealing his refined features.

At last, she learned his name: Xu Daoqiu.

The alcohol went to her head, and she fell for his looks.

Disastrously, she kissed Xu Daoqiu.

Even more disastrously, he didn't resist.

Xu Daoqiu had worked at his own company for two years. Aside from slacking off and coasting through the days, he'd only done two noteworthy things.

First, when he started, he banned office romances.

Second, two years after starting, he seduced the female coworker sitting across from him.

He coaxed her into kissing him, and not just once.

Little Scene:

His coworkers joked privately that Team Leader Xu had a face like a Platonist, so he was either frigid or gay.

Bai Zhizi agreed on the surface, but her thoughts drifted to the night before, after work.

She'd misspoken and called Xu Daoqiu by her ex-boyfriend's name.

In the underground parking garage, the jealous Glasses Guy tossed aside his glasses, pinned her in the back seat of the car, and kissed her for a long, long time.

"Zhizi, open your eyes."

"Zhizi, look carefully. Who am I?"

· The heroine is inexperienced, but the male lead isn't.

Theme: Once I had heard of you; now I have seen you with my own eyes.
