[Naruto Otome] Bugs

I'm a bug, or at least I'm what the world has classified as a "bug" larva based on my appearance. But since I have no arms or legs, I can't even curl up and move my body like a caterpillar. I can only wriggle like the "slug" that humans despise just as much. It's incredibly inconvenient.

Does that sound disgusting? I have the most adorable, beautiful appearance, one that everyone loves. I know that even in this buggy form, people would hold me tenderly and cherish me. Even though I'm a bug, a soft-bodied animal without a skeleton...

Humans will all love me... No, every living creature will adore me.

All right, this strange creature... Hmm... Do I even count as a creature?

I don't need food or water. I don't even need to breathe anymore.

The bugs humans know can't do any of that. I'm pretty amazing, aren't I?

I've been living in a nest in a pool since I was born. Of course, I haven't been around for long. Even after all these days of letting my thoughts wander, I still haven't figured out how I came into being. The pool is quite big to me, but from my tiny perspective, everything enormous is terrifyingly huge... I can't stand growing up in a place like this.

I'm a bug, but I can feel fear.

So these past few days, the girl who occasionally appears here has been coming more and more often. Maybe it has something to do with me?

Seeing the pink-haired girl looking dazed and entranced, I can already guess what my fate will be.

I'm going to "grow up."

It's okay. Every living creature will like me, adore me, cherish me, treasure me, protect me, and become infatuated with me.

Wonderful.

[You are a bug, a strange bug.]

[You have a strange scent that attracts every living, healthy creature.]

[You want to grow up because you hate imbalance.]

[You don't know where you came from, either.]

Maybe this is very Mary Sue, but it's fun and I like it. The author's tastes are unusual: no restrictions on gender, body type, age, or species.

Theme: Even bugs have to live!
