[The world is rotting]
It is decaying at a terrifying speed. After an eclipse that was anything but ordinary, disaster fully began.
Every month, countless fungus-like things would sprout across the world. They were long and incredibly tough, harder to deal with than steel and iron. No one paid attention to the beginning of this calamity. Some even ignored the warnings and secretly transplanted these "rarities" into their homes. Such people did exist, and the terrible consequences soon became clear:
After awakening, the "hyphae" poking out from the tops of these things sucked at the food on their menu like living hunters: humans, cats, dogs, or anything else...
Perhaps there was still room for a turnabout?
Red vapor quietly filled the air at irregular intervals. Where did it come from? Why had it come? What would it bring?
The questions were answered.
Illness began to spread, and countless disasters unfolded. Every seven days, the world was showered with a "red bug rain."
Red clusters of worms, each a full two square meters across, tumbled one after another from the sky, crushing the living things of the old world. People discovered that the animals with the least intelligence were the first to lose their reason. "Madness" clung to every brain. No one knew the true cause of this disaster.
After inhaling enough of the red gas, people would also become something like the walking dead. They were "contagious."
Perhaps that red vapor was made of eggs... Maybe it was the precursor to the red bug rain.
Quarantine was barely effective, because fungi would always burst through solid ground, while the crimson worm clusters would gather together, put on human clothes, and call out. As for their eggs, they couldn't be detected and could be lurking in any possibility.
The disgusting, bizarre things went far beyond this. No one knew why this world had been chosen. In all the technology and biological records of the known world, there wasn't a single glimmer of hope to counter them.
An alien species immune to both high and low temperatures had launched an invasion against them.
But you have no memories. You know nothing at all. You understand nothing.
You can only follow the voice inside you.
[Now, you must kill them]
