The One Everyone Fights Over at the Elite Academy

The boy was born into a family made up of an abusive father and a gold-digging mother. While scavenging for trash, he saw a boy get hit and killed, and discovered that the victim was an incoming student at the Federal Aristocratic Academy.

He buried the boy, first taking the name Xia Hui, then betting on a spaceship ticket in the middle of the night and heading to the capital, where he assumed the identity of a high school student.

Xia Hui coldly tore out the page and went behind the shelves to find a book.

Then he thought of something even more troublesome.

Rain beat against the library dome. Amid the endless white noise, a boy trapped him between the shelves in row 10 and his own chest.

Their warm breaths mingled, condensing into white mist in the damp, chilly air.

"Stop avoiding me, Xia Hui."

The boy's fingers slid into the black hair at the back of Xia Hui's head, forcing him to tilt his chin up and reveal the fair neck usually hidden beneath his neatly buttoned uniform collar. "Or should I call you something else?"

Xia Hui's back pressed against the bookshelf. His hand curled silently at his side. "I don't understand what you mean."

The next moment, a tall shadow fell over him. Their lips met, warm and dry. The boy's slender hand locked around his waist and pressed him more firmly against himself. "If you don't understand, then let's kiss."

A sense of suffocation and violation came over him at once.

His lips were forced open. In a daze, Xia Hui felt that the other boy did not seem to be trying to expose him.

At the edge of unconsciousness, the click of a camera shutter mingled with the sound of rain and struck like a bolt of lightning.

Xia Hui came to and jerked his head aside, dodging the kiss.

He raised a hand and harshly wiped his damp lower lip with his thumb. His eyes turned icy. "Had enough?"

Xia Hui did not spare the boy another glance. He squeezed sideways through the gap and left.

The boy stayed where he was, not chasing after him.

The warmth of the other's waist and the feel of his hair seemed to linger on his fingertips. He turned toward the corner where the sound had come from, his gaze cold and indifferent.

"Delete it."

Xia Hui walked through the library crowd, who were all trembling with fear. He was not surprised that these lofty chosen ones would do anything they pleased.

Just hold on a little longer. He would leave them far behind and head toward a bright future.

Graduation season arrived, and the heirs to unimaginable fortunes agreed to meet for drinks at a bar.

The new transfer student, E, had donated a building to the school and become the latest darling of the crowd.

At the table, A, B, C, and D started talking about Xia Hui.

"Xia Hui is the abstinent, aloof top student type. He's not interested in men."

"It's strange, right? He's a special-admissions student who seems completely uninterested in sex, but he's still really popular."

E stared at Xia Hui's photo and smiled faintly. "Are you sure his name is Xia Hui? My younger brother wasn't this beautiful."

This novel does not open with the scenes described in the blurb. It starts when Xia Hui mistakenly wanders into the world of the powerful, at the very beginning of the story. It does not jump straight into the high-intensity parts, so it may start a little slowly. The harem-conflict arc builds up bit by bit, and the later groveling-after-the-chase arc also takes its time building the emotions, leading little by little to a happy ending. The tradeoff is that the opening may not feel immediately satisfying. Please bear with me.

But the bottom also has another side: sensitive, patient, gentle, pitiable, adorable, and coolly beautiful, with a steady core.

Not a universal BL setting, but a traditional worldview. A very melodramatic aristocratic academy. The ending is 1v1. The bottom is a genius who wants to graduate and enter a mathematical research institute.

Every character is a virgin. There are loads of romantic subplots, such as kissing, hugging, and other things. The bottom tends to deal with things by ignoring them and is usually hard to approach, a cold, aloof beauty like an iceberg. Only Jiang Yao succeeds in winning him over, so Jiang Yao is the official partner. The bottom's feelings are not limited to accepting Jiang Yao. This shouldn't have been labeled a story where both leads are sexually inexperienced. Only the top is completely chaste. The kisses between the bottom and the other tops, along with the "just the tip" sort of behavior and possibly actual sex, mean that until the ending, it can't be defined as a story where both leads are sexually inexperienced or as a bottom-with-multiple-tops story. Please stop saying the blurb is misleading. After writing over 900,000 words, the characters have developed souls of their own and the world has taken on a life of its own. I can't control them anymore!!! Please have some sympathy for this author, babies!!!

Also, the top is not beautiful! The top is not beautiful! The top is not beautiful! Important things have to be said three times!

All the literary descriptions of the top's appearance in the novel are only to establish that he's not ugly. I think some description of his looks is necessary, along with a bit of atmosphere, but that doesn't make him a beautiful top!

What's the point of making the top beautiful? So he can compete with the bottom? Come on, that's really not necessary!

Love can be fought over, but it can't be shared. Only a top who is truly awful in every way can win. The bottom doesn't care about the pack of dogs competing for him. All he cares about is money, power, and studying.

They said that an ungrateful kitten should wear a collar around its neck and be locked away in a magnificent house, looking melancholy and glamorous with a ball of yarn for company, trading companionship for everything its owner provides.

But he said: No. I want to scratch them all to death.
