01
Five years after the zombie outbreak, the entire world lies buried beneath the ruins.
Stay in such a silent, despairing world for too long, and anyone would go mad.
But Jiang Sui is a born madwoman. She only needs to vent her emotions to keep herself going.
And her "sanity anchor" is unusual:
Countless zombies everywhere...
and Yi Feng.
02
Yi Feng has broad shoulders, long legs, a narrow waist, and a generous chest. His soft, smooth hair is tied low into a short tail. A pair of striking moles adorn his lower lip and earlobe, making him irresistibly alluring. The only thing that doesn't quite fit is his icy expression.
The first time Jiang Sui sees him, she reaches out and gives his pectorals a squeeze.
He retaliates by holding a knife to her neck and leaving a scar that never fades.
At first, they're trading punches and kicks with all their might. Then, in the middle of the fight, they end up tangled together.
Blood from the wound on Jiang Sui's neck soaks through her collar, but she still smiles as she pins him beneath her, relentlessly pushing him until breathless sounds spill from his lips.
Grabbing the end of his hair, she pulls his upper body toward her and leans in close to his ear. She nibbles and nuzzles the little mole on his earlobe, leaving a ring of purplish bruises. "Tell me, are you doing this willingly?"
Yi Feng's eyes turn red at the corners, his lips pressed tightly together, but his body keeps trembling.
His voice quivering, he says each word slowly: "It's... you..."
Jiang Sui snorts and covers his mouth with her palm, muffling the rest.
Willing is good enough.
03
After five years together, their routine is set: fight, kill, then let off steam while the smell of blood still hangs in the air.
Yi Feng doesn't understand why Jiang Sui is so interested in his chest and body.
Jiang Sui doesn't understand how Yi Feng can face death with such indifference.
But it doesn't matter.
Jiang Sui deftly plunges her dagger into a zombie's eye socket once more, cracking its crystal core. She slowly stands and wipes the filth and blood from her face, her back to Yi Feng.
She says, "Come here."
Yi Feng doesn't answer. He simply walks toward her, one step at a time.
Just as it has every time over the past five years, the end of the fight signals the unspoken beginning of something else: a kind of taking that is reserved for Yi Feng alone.
And yet, he has long since been tamed into accepting it with open arms.

Upcoming novel: Bullying an Honest Man? Here's the blurb~
/
01
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland overrun with zombies, Jiang Zhao stays away from every base and travels alone, living day by day with her head in her hands, afraid she'll lose it in a moment of carelessness.
Overusing a mental ability can indeed cause confusion, but... what does it mean to go crazy and abduct a living person to sleep with?
In a dim, pitch-black room where nothing can be made out, Jiang Zhao sees a muscular man lying beside the bed, covered in marks with half his face buried in the sheets. Only one thought remains in her head:
Nice body. Five stars.
02
Out of basic decency, Jiang Zhao leaves a few crystal cores on the bedside table, intending to call it even.
After all, it's the apocalypse. They can both get some resources out of it. It was consensual, after all.
But just after stepping out of the room, Jiang Zhao turns back as if compelled. She grabs him by the nape, pulls him up, bites a ring of marks into his lips, and leaves a mental imprint on him as a mark.
03
Jiang Zhao climbs over the base wall and lands on the other side. Before she can even get up, she looks up and sees a tall, broad-shouldered figure standing in the shadows, backlit.
Broad as a tiger, narrow at the waist, with long, lean legs. Every inch of him is wrapped in taut fabric that outlines his form.
Looking higher, she sees a buzz cut, thin lips, and brows that shade his eyes. A striking cross-shaped scar marks the corner of his mouth. What a face, designed to leave you wanting more.
Jiang Zhao calmly stands and dusts off her sleeves. "On patrol?"
The man presses his lips together without a word, his dark phoenix eyes looming over her. He's far more frightening than all those lunatics who are always shouting about killing people.
Jiang Zhao assumes he's mute and turns to leave, but a hand suddenly clamps around her wrist. Then a low, hoarse voice behind her sounds deeply hurt and frustrated.
"Don't you want me anymore?"
Ding!
The mental imprint answers its counterpart from afar.
