How I Used Fresh Fruit Processing to Lead My Town to Prosperity in Ancient Times

Modern fruit-processing businesswoman Chu Xiyue transmigrates to ancient times and writes a business legend along the Silk Road. She and county magistrate Lu Zhiqing are a formidable team, and the two leads flirt with each other until they fall in love!

What? She transmigrated and became the owner of a dried-fruit shop!

Her parents are dead, the fruit farmers she owes money to have come to collect, and her shop is on the verge of closing...

What can she do? Get the shop back on its feet, of course!

The problem is that the products are poor quality and won't sell even at clearance prices.

Then she'll process fresh fruit herself. Does she have money? No! Does she have workers? They've all left or scattered!

The good news is, the fruit is rotting on the branches, and the county magistrate who was banished here is slacking off and doing nothing.

Here's her chance!

First, she makes loquat jam, which becomes a hit.

What? Her competitors copy her, flooding the market with similar products, and they can't even get the details right. Then their products go moldy and they blame her? And they're urging the fruit farmers to sue her at the county office?!

For the greater good, Chu Xiyue willingly shares her recipe, but loses her competitive edge completely!

What now? She keeps developing new products! Chu Xiyue comes equipped with modern knowledge of fresh-fruit processing!

In the end, a whole range of jams, preserves, dried-fruit crisps, fruit teas, and more take the Silk Road by storm...

And that seemingly idle county magistrate always shows up at just the right time to help her in secret.

In the end, the two quietly fall for each other and stay by each other's side on the Silk Road!
