The Savior Doesn't Look Like a Good Person

Wuyuan Lian is the savior in an old-school savior story: the one who is full of love for the world, but so meek that people rip out his heart, lungs, liver, and spiritual power, before making him seal the great demon with his own body. He's the archetype of "the whole world falls in love with you after you die."

After finally finishing the plot and saving the world, he is inexplicably bound to a System that appears out of nowhere. Just as he's about to ascend and escape the original world's enslavement, ready to enjoy quick transmigration, some bizarre entity called the "World Consciousness" abducts him before he's even fully dead. Before he knows it, he has begun another life of saving the world.

System A-001, whose Host has been stolen, glares furiously and turns into a shrieking chicken, determined to wage war against the World Consciousness for three hundred years. "How dare you steal my Host?!!"

Wuyuan Lian doesn't mind. He can be a savior anywhere. Looking at the ruined world, the people who greet him with hostility, and the factions plotting against one another, he gives them a smile so practiced it makes your heart ache. "Hello..."

"Stop!"

001, who had been arguing with the World Consciousness, holds up a sign and starts teaching him on the spot. "Do you know what you're supposed to do now?"

Wuyuan Lian thinks about what he used to do in his original world, then says hesitantly, "First, reason with them, then win them over with love...?"

"Zero points!"

A piece of chalk taps him on the forehead. 001's voice is merciless, and then a gleaming warehouse opens its doors to him. "Pick a weapon that feels right and go beat them up. If you can't win, I'll ask the Main God to give you special treatment."

Wuyuan Lian: ?

"What nonsense about winning them over with love? You're the savior their world invited!"

"A savior is someone the whole world has to kneel down and beg to save them!"

1. Savior of History

After sending off eight corpses, Honmaru A-031 welcomes a ninth person who isn't afraid to die.

The new Saniwa is lovely and delicate, looking like someone who won't live long.

Mikazuki, the true leader of the Honmaru, takes a sip of tea and privately guesses this person won't survive the first night.

But then...

Bang! The advanced short sword sent to assassinate the Saniwa is thrown eight hundred miles away.

Crash! The door to the Sanjo family's quarters is kicked open.

The delicate new Saniwa stands before him, eyes red enough to drip blood. He looks more evil than their blades, who are on the verge of corruption, and his words are just as merciless. "I have no interest in your past, present, or future, and I don't want anything to do with you."

"I'm the savior hired by the Time Government to destroy the Time Retrograde Army and save history. If we can't leave each other in peace..."

He gives a terrifying smile. "I don't mind sending you to meet God first."

2. The Source of the Book

A new ability user has appeared in Yokohama. Their strength is unknown, but their ability is extraordinarily powerful.

As expected, the Port Mafia's boss takes an interest and orders his strongest strategist and greatest fighter to team up and recruit them at all costs.

But naturally, the Mafia isn't the only one watching such a promising talent. With the Special Division for Unusual Powers, the Armed Detective Agency, and even the Decay of Angels all trying to get involved, the situation becomes incredibly chaotic.

In the middle of schemes piled on schemes, the ability user at the very center of the storm chooses to...

Blow up half of Yokohama's five most famous buildings, then toss a certain Russian rice ball off to Siberia to grow potatoes (literally).

As everyone stares in stunned silence, he calmly lowers his hand and smiles.

"I won't become anyone's tool. I came only to save the world."

"If anyone dares to stand in my way, step forward and fight me!"

He is the Book's outside help, brought in to mend a world that has been stabbed into a complete mess. Anyone who dares obstruct him had better ask whether the weapon in his hand agrees!

Notes:

An unconventional savior.

He isn't truly weak, isn't a self-sacrificing saint, and isn't a good person in the traditional sense. He'll make any compromise necessary to save the world, and his combat ability is at the absolute peak.

The story takes place across multiple small worlds, with more to come.
