The Laws of Illusion

1.

Chu Ming is an ordinary artist with bipolar disorder, forcibly dragged into a strange world called "Dreamscape."

Danger lurks everywhere, and most players don't make it out alive.

While other players carefully study the rules of each instance and try to please the NPCs just to survive,

Chu Ming merely raises his eyes, calmly seeing through the key to each instance in an instant.

He is incredibly handsome, and his mind is even more formidable. Without lifting a finger, he can rewrite an instance's rules. A-rank NPCs switch sides for him, and even the instance's BOSS willingly opens a path to safety.

Everyone in the instance is baffled: Who is this guy, anyway?

When his mind is clear, he is a calm, brilliant puzzle solver.

But once his manic phase hits, his reason collapses completely, and his madness comes out in full force. He repeatedly destroys and rewrites the instance scenarios, driving the NPCs to collectively apply for resets. The other players scatter in fear, all thinking the same thing: This guy isn't here to clear the levels. He's here to wreck everything!

2.

Ci Ge, the BOSS who rules Dreamscape, has forgotten everything about his past. All that remains after countless years is boredom and weariness.

The images of countless players flicker across his live-stream screens, but none of them move him.

Until he sees Chu Ming.

This person is rational and clearheaded when calm, yet extreme when he loses control. Both traits exist in him at once.

A sudden stab of pain hits Ci Ge's chest, and fragments of long-buried memories surge back.

Long ago, someone stood in the light, eyes curved in a smile, and called him "Ci Ge."

Theme: Even when love is forgotten across time and space, it can still tear through the void and become a light that guides the way home.
