Great Nation Forensic Examiner [Period]

At the turn of the millennium, something strange happened.

Investigators at a grassroots police station in a poor county began solving major cold cases one after another. Over a hundred fugitives were captured, shocking the entire country. The county’s criminal investigation performance indicators soared, reportedly thanks to a young forensic examiner.

How could a powerhouse like that be left out in the mountains? A city bureau leader personally came to present her with a second-class merit award, only to discover that the honoree was a young woman in her early twenties.

Meng Jieyu, a university graduate who had hoped to lie flat, unexpectedly unlocked three max-level golden fingers: fingerprint matching, crime scene examination, and autopsy skills. As she solved more cases, her skills improved, and she gradually became one of the country’s rarest, most elite, and most valuable forensic experts.

In a remote mountain region, Meng Jieyu faced off against the relatives of criminals to keep evidence from being burned. She carried a corpse on a bumpy road, and after conducting autopsies, helped catch a whole village of human traffickers who abducted women and children.

At an international technical exchange in Hong Kong, she worked in forensic trace analysis. With nothing but a single footprint, she picked out her target from a crowd of a hundred people with similar heights, builds, and gaits. Along the way, she solved one long-standing cold case after another, including cases that had stumped Hong Kong for a decade.

At the city bureau, she wrote forensic textbooks covering trace evidence, footprints, blood, images, crime scene examination, and more. Though still young, she taught a group of veteran experts much older than herself, training generation after generation of outstanding professionals to take the field from experience-based practice to a technology-driven approach.

Justice may be late, but she will never shrink from hardship. She will keep pressing forward.

Though small in stature, she knows the weight and value of life all too well. No matter how terrifying, brutal, or bizarre a murder case may be, she and countless fellow officers work tirelessly to uphold justice under the law.

From a poor county to the forensic service of a great nation, through countless days and nights, she spreads her wings like a young eagle and carries justice aloft!
