Is It Wrong for the God of Light to Lie?

[I might change the title again. I haven't decided yet...]

Synopsis:

Meris transmigrates.

She transmigrates into the world of a novel, becoming the novel's "Meris": beautiful, harmless, and obedient.

Unfortunately, Meris is still a child when she arrives, and she goes through the awful experiences of her past.

As a result, Meris changes a tiny bit.

This is a world where the strong prey on the weak. There are plenty of people who are abnormal, and even more abnormal men. But status, money, and power all belong to them.

The world belongs to the strong. The weak have nothing.

With nothing to her name, Meris has no choice but to yield to their relentless pursuit.

But no one knows that she has met the God of Light.

The kind and pure God of Light always casts a merciful gaze upon the pitiful girl, forgives all her sins, and grants her every request.

Because she deceives him.

Meris praises him and serves him, appearing to want to devote everything to him.

Then she makes her demands without a trace of hesitation.

"My dear God of Light, I want your tears. Please turn them into poison."

"My dear God of Light, I want your fingernails. Please turn them into the sharpest blades."

Meris obtains poison, blades, and garrotes from the God of Light...

They will all be "gifts" for her dear companions.

"God of Light, you are always so willing to help me selflessly. I will forever be your most devoted believer." Every time, Meris gives thanks for the god's gifts as usual.

The pitiful, harmless-looking girl clasps her hands together, looking devout and overwhelmed with gratitude.

But one day, the God of Light suddenly responds.

"It's not enough."
