1. On the way to bring a change of clothes to her fiance, Song Zhiyu suddenly saw a comment float across his vision:

As a supporting bottom in a melodramatic novel, he awakened.

Before that, his life had been perfect.

A privileged family, parents and an older brother who loved him, excellent grades and a bright future, plus an arranged marriage to his childhood friend, whom he hadn't seen in ages and had secretly loved for years.

But he wasn't the protagonist. He was just cannon fodder.

The real protagonist was his fiance, the main-character scumbag top.

In the book, he slept with the drunk scumbag that very night. The next day, the scumbag pulled up his pants and denied everything, saying he'd mistaken him for the main-character bottom.

But by then, he'd already been diagnosed as pregnant.

His parents and brother all told him it was okay, that it was just an accident and he could have an abortion. His family would support him. But the version of him in the book cried, threw tantrums, and threatened suicide. He was willing to drop out and break with his whole family just to be with the scumbag and have the baby. In the end, he didn't even take the college entrance exam.

He'd been dealt a great hand and played it terribly.

Song Zhiyu was utterly stunned.

Who the hell wrote this? Even a side character doesn't deserve to be treated like this!

But before he could even open the door, the scumbag top had already come out on his own and leaned toward him. "You're here..."

3. Xu Hechuan was his older brother's closest friend.

He had an impeccable family background and looks, but Song Zhiyu had always been afraid of him. Whenever he saw him coming home with his brother, he would go out of his way to avoid him. The man was a smiling tiger with a wicked mind, and rumor had it that everyone who crossed him ended up buried.

Song Zhiyu figured he could whisper a few things in secret. Nobody would dare ask him to prove it.

Who knew the scumbag would go completely nuts?

He dragged Song Zhiyu in front of Xu Hechuan and started demanding to know when they'd gotten together.

Song Zhiyu felt like the sky had fallen. He was definitely finished now.

But once Xu Hechuan understood what was happening, he took Song Zhiyu's hand and meticulously wiped every place the scumbag had touched with a wet wipe. Then he smiled warmly. "Since we were kids. I've been waiting for you to break off your engagement."

4. Xu Hechuan had always known that his friend's pretty little brother was bewitched and had fallen for some blond punk off the street.
