[Alpha who says one thing but means another and gets jealous easily x emotionally oblivious, naturally airheaded Beta]
[He Chen x Tao Shu]
Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, He Chen has a mild-mannered little sidekick who takes care of him, obeys him, and takes the blame for him.
His friends say Tao Shu is nice to him because Tao Shu’s mother works as a maid in his house, and Tao Shu sees him only as an employer.
He Chen: “No, he loves me.”
He Chen: “I casually brought it up, and he agreed to marry me.”
He Chen’s parents disapprove of his hasty marriage and demand that he form a marriage alliance with an omega from a prestigious family.
His friends advise He Chen that, as an alpha, he shouldn’t get involved with an unremarkable beta.
Friend: He doesn’t like you at all. He just wants your money.
He Chen: Hah, impossible. I’m the one he loves most.
Friend: He’s about to take the money and leave.
He Chen returns home and finds Tao Shu packing. A check is clearly visible in his suitcase.
Unable to accept it, He Chen demands a divorce in a fit of anger, then leaves with their marriage certificate, expecting Tao Shu to come and placate him like before.
Half a month later, he returns home to find the place empty.
He searches the whole city but can’t find a trace of Tao Shu.
One year later
Friend: He only wanted your money.
He Chen can’t take it anymore. “So what if he wants my money? Why does he want mine and not someone else’s? He loves me!”
Two years later, while out negotiating a business deal, He Chen spots Tao Shu running a roadside stall.
He Chen: I knew it. He can’t live without me.
He Chen: I’ll be magnanimous and marry him again.
Just as He Chen walks over, a child runs out of nowhere and throws herself into Tao Shu’s arms, sweetly calling him “Daddy.”
Tao Shu tenderly picks her up, then looks up and meets He Chen’s disbelieving gaze.
He Chen: “You actually had a child with someone else behind my back?! Whose is it?!”
Tao Shu shoots him an annoyed look and turns to leave with the child in his arms.
He Chen runs after him, giving up on his pride. “Come back with me. I’ll raise the child!”
After a long silence, Tao Shu says softly, “She’s yours.”

1. This blurb is provisional and will be revised.
2. The blurb is from the pursuing partner’s perspective; the story is from the pursued partner’s perspective.
3. A slightly bittersweet sweet treat. Both are inexperienced. At first, they’re a couple who keep missing each other’s signals. The pursuer is insincere in his words at first, then dotes on his wife and chases after him.
4. I haven’t figured out the rest yet. I’ll add more later.
