On the night of his birthday party, the shou got into a car accident on his way home and lost his memory.

When he woke up, a handsome but gloomy man told him he was his fiance, then took his hand and showed him that they were wearing matching rings.

A middle-aged couple who claimed to be his parents nodded solemnly, regretfully explaining that the engagement would have to be postponed.

The shou felt uneasy. With an awkward laugh, he pulled his hand back, feeling that he'd forgotten something important.

That night, the shou hobbled to the bathroom with a cane. When he looked up, he saw the shadow of a man in the mirror. He couldn't make out the man's face, but a powerful feeling made his whole body go numb: the man was staring right at him.

Terrified, the shou's legs gave out and he fell to the floor. He shakily turned on the lights, but the mirror was empty.

At first, he thought he had imagined it. But for more than half a month, he kept waking with a start in the middle of the night to see that shadow standing beside his bed, looking down at him.

The shou was scared out of his mind and went everywhere looking for talismans, but nothing worked.

The shadow followed him everywhere, never leaving, but never harming him either.

The shou was at his wits' end. He could only force himself to ignore it, no matter how scared he was.

On the night of his engagement, he was forced to drink the wine his fiance handed him. By the time he realized something was wrong, it was too late.

In a daze, he saw the shadow pick up a vase and smash it into the back of his fiance's head.

The shou's whole body burned as he wept and moaned. To his surprise, the coolness of the shadow felt wonderful, and he frantically rubbed himself against it. The shadow kept dodging him.

The shou exploded in frustration and reached out, unaware of what he had grabbed. Crying, he yelled, "What's the big deal if you let me cling to you for a while?! You're a ghost, for God's sake. Are you afraid I'll fuck you?!"

The shadow: "..."

The shadow slowly reached out and gently pulled him into its arms.

Exhausted, the shou fell asleep.

When he woke up, his whole body was weak.

Remembering what had happened the night before, he gave the shadow a resentful look. "Did you secretly drain my yang energy last night?"
