A jack-of-all-trades restaurant appeared on the Grand Line, sailing the seas and becoming notorious far and wide.
Customers who had eaten there all said the owner was a good-for-nothing layabout who only served set meals, always made with fish and Sea Kings. Customers had to pour their own water, while the owner hogged the booze. The staff changed all the time, and had terrible tempers. Most importantly, the prices were outrageous!
They swore they'd never eat there again.
Rosinante disagreed.
He would always remember that snowy night. His identity as an undercover agent had been exposed, his own brother wanted him dead, and in his despair, the curly-haired owner leaned against the railing and coolly asked if he wanted to eat.
"To ensure a pleasant dining experience, our restaurant cleans up all the trash."
Rosinante nodded as if in a trance, and his fate took a turn.
A mushroom drifted past in silence.
"And then we couldn't pay the bill, so we got stuck washing dishes. You were so clumsy you broke plates, making your debt bigger and bigger until you were stuck working here for life."
The Fish-Man Fisher Tiger also disagreed.
He had freed slaves without regard to their race, and had done everything he could to take a little girl home, only to be betrayed by the villagers. He swore he would never trust humans again.
As he fled the Navy in a sorry state, clutching his wounds, the curly-haired owner stood on the deck and asked in a flippant tone, "Want to come in for a meal, hero? Eat here and get a free Navy beatdown."
He boarded as if in a trance, and his fate took a turn.
A dragon drifted past in silence.
"And then that curly-haired bastard made Big Brother fish every day and didn't even pay him!"

If the restaurant System could have another 9,999 chances, it would never bind itself to that silver-haired, curly-haired good-for-nothing just because of their dazzling first meeting.
That curly-haired guy was too lazy to promote the restaurant, too lazy to serve customers, and didn't bother training the employees summoned from other worlds. He even started a clichéd office romance, and would openly go on strike whenever his back hurt!

Locked inside the Prison Realm, Gojo's negative emotions piled up. He didn't need a mirror to know he was now the monster those people in the jujutsu world talked about.
When light appeared before him, he thought he would see the fearful faces of jujutsu sorcerers. Instead, he found a curly-haired guy picking his ear. The man saw him and whistled.
"Hey there, handsome guy with the sleek straight hair. Do your best from now on."
The curly-haired guy wasn't afraid of him. He was lazy, a shady boss with nothing but money on his mind and weird tastes, and tried to trick them into greeting customers in nurse outfits.
But he was also softhearted. He'd grumble about losing money, then save people anyway. When it came to love, he was a coward, but whenever Gojo acted weak, he'd let him take advantage.
Time and again, Gojo thought he had the man wrapped around his finger. In the end, he realized he was the one being played.

Reading notes:
1. Gintoki (bottom) x 285 (top)
2. Employees summoned from other worlds include Gojo, Dazai, Kagura, Shinpachi, Gon, Killua, Saitama, and Tanjiro, among others.
3. It probably won't feel much like Gintama.
