My next book: “Is It Okay If I Have a Husband?”
Recently, You Xian and Liang Sheng’s friends realized the two of them had disappeared together.
One was an impoverished PhD student who took life as it came, loved good food, and hated work. The other was a rich second-generation man, recently discharged from the military, who was strict with others and moody.
Their only connection was that You Xian’s childhood friend was Liang Sheng’s roommate.
The story began on a stormy night.
You Xian said, “You could call this the start of a body-swap show.”
You Xian looked at her huge feet and completely fell apart. Liang Sheng could hide his size 44 feet in his shoes, but she couldn’t cram hers into size 36 leather flats.
Liang Sheng stared silently at You Xian’s body from the neck down. Now he was more worried about this.
“...You should move in with me for now. Living in the dorm might be inconvenient.”
Before Liang Sheng met You Xian, he’d been a respectable rich guy, going to school, starting businesses, driving luxury cars, playing games, and lying in a house worth 200,000 per square meter while contemplating life.
After meeting You Xian, he had to worry that at any moment he might reveal a manicure, speak in a coquettish voice, or have long hair fluttering in the breeze.
Years later, their friends finally learned about this bizarre affair. One looked at You Xian, now back in her normal body, and asked curiously, “So how did you two switch back in the end?”
You Xian wouldn’t elaborate, keeping her lips sealed.
Rich guy soldier VS pure-hearted PhD
Blurb for the upcoming “Is It Okay If I Have a Husband?”:
Liang Zhou woke up one day and suddenly realized he was the male lead in a mediocre romance novel. Though he was broke now, he was destined to become a domineering CEO.
But being a tech tycoon and an inspirational top student were just bonuses. All his hard work and money-making were meant to give his wife a lavish life.
Liang Zhou sneered. Why should he? He was deeply unhappy with his character in the original plot. According to the story, while he was busy acting like that woman’s dog, he missed a bull market, turned down a chance to work with a big shot, and gave up studying abroad. Without her holding him back, he could have reached that position three years earlier.
So, at the scene where he was originally supposed to fall in love at first sight, Liang Zhou pushed his rival forward instead.
In the original story, that guy fell in love with the heroine at first sight.
Someone that lovesick wasn’t fit to be his enemy.
Liang Zhou worked diligently and tirelessly, day and night, and finally became even more successful than he’d expected.
One day, while buying discounted bread at the supermarket, Liang Zhou saw a girl.
Her skin was snow-white, and her long hair fell in a slightly messy cascade. Beneath the supermarket lights, she looked like someone out of a dream.
He stared at her, dazed. He didn’t even notice when an old man beside him snatched the near-expiry toast from his hand.
His eyes lit up. Something more thrilling than securing tens of millions in investment had just happened.
Liang Zhou’s drive, which had subsided because he’d become so successful, flared up again. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he prepared to approach and strike up a conversation with his future wife.
Then a familiar face appeared beside his wife: his former rival, now a man who wasn’t even fit to carry his shoes, the lovesick idiot he’d enthusiastically set up with her.
Liang Zhou: Holy crap!
“We’re made for each other.” Liang Zhou was so dazed by his wife’s fragrance that he forgot everything he’d meant to say.
His destined wife looked at him hesitantly. “But is it okay if I already have a husband?”
Su Yin had never lacked suitors, and she was always good at turning people down.
But this man named Liang Zhou was just too devoted. She couldn’t shake him off.
Han Shu had always been pretty annoyed by Liang Zhou, that career-obsessed grind. Then Liang Zhou had a change of heart and set him up with his goddess.
At a business dinner, he smiled broadly at Liang Zhou. “Thanks, bro. I’ll let you know as soon as there’s good news.”
Career-obsessed Liang Zhou seemed to have contracted rabies. He roared and swung at him. “Only if I’m dead! Otherwise, you can forget it!”
A career-obsessed man who saves every penny he earns to spend on his wife VS an unreliable, two-timing literary dog trainer who says things without thinking
Theme: In life, you are your own savior.
Can Youbo take advantage of being drunk and go straight up and kiss the innocent soldier brother 😚😚😚
Come on Hong! 🐰 The only shortcoming of this book is that I thought it was a bit too bland before repeated exchanges, but it was also very interesting to write [Lopp-eared Rabbit Head]
