My Amnesiac Ex Is a Workaholic on a Reunion Dating Show

Five years ago, the young master Ling Chen fell in love at first sight with Shang Huaiyu, a handsome mixed-race man with broad shoulders and long legs. After relentlessly pursuing him for half a year, he finally won him over.

Five years later, Ling Chen is penniless. A resource-starved, D-list celebrity, he even secretly drives a rideshare car to pay off his debts.

Then he suddenly discovers the reason his family went bankrupt and left him isolated: he's just a disposable character in a novel.

But he also learns that the protagonist shou will pick up the down-and-out protagonist gong on a rainy night and go on to reach the pinnacle of life.

Ling Chen decides to get ahead of the story and starts searching the roadside every day.

At last, one day, he finds a top-tier mixed-race hottie, badly injured and unconscious.

Good news: The hottie has amnesia and sticks to Ling Chen from then on.

Bad news: He picked up the wrong guy. It's his scummy ex, Shang Huaiyu.

Whenever Ling Chen tries to kick Shang Huaiyu out, the guy gets a headache one moment and a stomachache the next, looking so pitiful and unable to manage without him.

Ling Chen simply takes Shang Huaiyu along to an exes' dating show. Hesitating for even a second would be disrespectful to the astronomical appearance fee.

Ling Chen just wants to coast and muddle through life, but Shang Huaiyu takes his job way too seriously, spending money and risking his life to be the hardest-working contestant.

So much so that the protagonist gong and shou, who should have been the center of attention, fade into the background. The whole internet starts shipping Ling Chen and his partner, flooding the comments with calls to bring the marriage bureau to them and make them get back together.

Ling Chen pushes Shang Huaiyu away and warns him in a low voice, "We're only working together. Keep things appropriate."

Shang Huaiyu says nothing, immediately putting on a delicate, heartbroken pose. What a huge, six-foot-three green-tea schemer.

Ling Chen lies without batting an eye. "I'm seeing someone. He's my top supporter, the chairman of Huanshang Group."

Shang Huaiyu silently takes out his phone and sends another 99 luxury gifts right in front of Ling Chen, cementing his position as the unbeatable top supporter.

Ling Chen: ...?

I'm only pretending, but you're really doing it, huh?

2. Sickly gong (because this is my type, okay?)

3. They're each other's only one, with no other exes

4. No writing advice, and please respect each other even if you don't like it.
