There Are More Good Cats in the World

Miao Miaomiao is a calico cat. The calico cat's name is Miao Miaomiao.

She gave herself that name.

Miao Miaomiao is a cultured cat. She may not know much, but she's pretty bold.

One day, she went to the temple as usual to stroll around and play, catching fish and teasing turtles. When she got tired, she climbed onto the altar beneath the statue of a deity, flopped down on her back, and fell asleep sprawled out for her afternoon nap.

Miao Miaomiao likes to doze on the altar. She thinks it's cool and clean.

It's a great place to have a good dream.

Until this time, when Miao Miaomiao discovered that the deity seemed to have entered her dream...

In the dream, the deity told her that if she did one hundred good deeds, she could go to heaven. They say heaven is a free and comfortable place, full of delicious food and fun things, where you can do whatever you want.

Miao Miaomiao was instantly enchanted by the idea.

She soon woke up and kept staring up at the statue of the deity in front of her.

Miao Miaomiao made up her mind right then: when she died, she absolutely had to go to heaven!

So she had to do one hundred good deeds while she was still alive.

What should her first good deed be?

For the first time, Miao Miaomiao thought very seriously. She'd start by getting off the altar.

Miao Miaomiao began thinking about how to do good deeds.

So she set little fish free, helped an old lady cross the road, and made two dogs who couldn't stand each other become friends...

But for some reason,

Miao Miaomiao belatedly realized that none of them seemed grateful to her.

When she set the little fish free, why did the man beside her holding a long fishing pole stare at her in shock?

When she helped the old lady cross the road, why did the old lady run along behind her with such a worried look on her face?

And those two dogs who had been barking at each other, why did they suddenly start chasing her together?!

Miao Miaomiao was puzzled and annoyed. Something seemed to be going wrong...

But she was absolutely, one hundred percent, one thousand percent sure she was doing good deeds!!
