The Poor Young Policewoman Finds a Little Detective

In the infamous Hong Kong family massacre and dismemberment case, Sheng Mingwei was the only suspect.

After giving birth to a baby boy in prison, she died under mysterious circumstances.

The case was hastily closed, leaving behind only two children.

Her fourteen-year-old daughter, Jiang Fu, was sent to an orphanage. Her newborn son, Jiang Hang, was adopted by a mysterious stranger.

Jiang Fu was certain her mother was no murderer.

That conviction kept her going as she clawed her way out of a cage home in Sham Shui Po. By day, she waited tables; at night, she studied the law. In the end, she graduated from the police academy with first-class honors and put on a police uniform.

According to the course her life was meant to take, she should have gotten closer to the truth step by step.

Then the archives suddenly caught fire.

Her mother’s case file was burned to ashes.

A little boy found her.

His eyes were indifferent, without curiosity or warmth.

He didn’t even seem like a child.

“Do you want to clear Mom’s name?”

Later, the siblings reopened the sealed case file.

The real culprit was brought to justice.

The little one tucked away the evidence bag and said calmly in a tiny voice, “I spent four years undercover just to wait for this day.”

“How old are you now?”

“? I’m four.” The little one blushed.

Later still, the Hong Kong headlines exploded:
