He Says Hearing Aids Can Spice Things Up

Cheng Ruozhuo's favorite thing to do every day is take off his hearing aids.

If he can't hear, he can turn down unnecessary socializing and ignore his marriage partner's complaints about him.

For instance, right now, he smiled at Ling Ke, who had chased him out of the villa and was "shouting abuse" at him.

Sure, he'd ruined the photo of Ling Ke and his beloved, but he'd also signed the divorce papers. Was there really any need to get so worked up?

Ling Ke, chasing after the car: "She isn't my beloved! I don't have a beloved!"

"I'm not signing the divorce papers!!"

The butler ran out after him. "Sir, Mr. Cheng left his hearing aids on the coffee table."

Ling Ke: ...Damn it!

Later, her husband, the famously easygoing movie star, hit someone at a banquet. Unfortunately, Cheng Ruozhuo had taken out his hearing aids and didn't know what had happened.

He only heard that someone had insulted him.

Cheng Ruozhuo was terribly curious about what they'd said.

Ling Ke's expression darkened. "Listen. No matter what they said about you, it was unacceptable."

Later still, Cheng Ruozhuo discovered that Ling Ke liked taking out his hearing aids in bed, then biting his ear and whispering to him.

Cheng Ruozhuo was dying to know what Ling Ke was saying.

Ling Ke loved the way Cheng Ruozhuo chased after him with questions.

Every time he heard him call, "Ling Ke," his excitement soared. It was quite the mood-setter.

When Ling Ke first learned that his arranged marriage partner was an animation director, he breathed a sigh of relief. Great, their work had nothing to do with each other.

Later, Ling Ke asked his agent if he could get a role in Cheng Ruozhuo's new film.

Ling Ke: "Voice acting would be fine too!"

Ling Ke knew Cheng Ruozhuo had agreed to marry him for an investment.

And he'd agreed for the ridiculous reason of bringing good fortune to a sick family member and fulfilling his filial duty.

He'd always thought their marriage was nothing more than a piece of paper.

Only later did he realize that Cheng Ruozhuo was his morning and evening, his every season.
