For a course assignment, Zheng Xiang runs a social media account where she regularly posts her photography.

But her posts get barely any likes or saves, and her followers are growing painfully slowly. At this rate, she won't meet her professor's requirements by the end of the semester, and she's getting worried.

One day, a handsome guy accidentally appeared in one of her photos. Before Zheng Xiang could find him and ask if he wanted a copy, he had disappeared.

So Zheng Xiang made a new post: Big data, please show this photo to the handsome guy in it! [Please]

When she woke up, Zheng Xiang was startled by the 99+ notifications in her inbox.

Good news: The handsome guy in the photo was a fellow student at her university, and he agreed to let her keep the post that had helped her account take off.

Bad news: Her account had taken off in a direction that seemed all wrong...

Netizens enthusiastically started shipping the two of them in the comments, said they wanted to see their chat history, and kept begging for updates.

Zheng Xiang stared in silence for a long time as the numbers on her account continued to climb. Then, bracing herself, she opened Liang Shuzhou's chat again and again.

But as the "I added the handsome stranger from my photo" series continued, the comments started getting a little strange...

"He obviously likes you! Aaaaaah!"

"Babe, I hate that you're such a blockhead!!!"

"Could you two please date, just for my sake?"

"Wait, teacher, I think I'm shipping a real couple..."

Zheng Xiang looked confused. Could he really like me?

Liang Shuzhou: Everyone already knows. You're only just figuring it out? ^^
