Becoming an Omega's Plaything

Ying Chenxiu is a poor alpha of humble origins.

The day he gets into the Alliance's top military academy, he sells himself to pay the exorbitant tuition.

The place where he sells his services is a secluded estate deep in the mountains. His employer, a pale and fragile omega, lies quietly in a hospital bed, gentle and flawless, aloof and stunning. The intense scent of jasmine makes Ying Chenxiu dizzy, nearly bringing him to his knees beside the bed.

He has no idea who this mysterious employer is, but the pay is exceptionally generous. All Ying Chenxiu has to do is release his pheromones as stipulated in the contract, easing the discomfort and pain caused by the beautiful omega's pheromone dysregulation.

He never imagined he would see his employer again.

The frail omega who once lay in a hospital bed now stands in the middle of the parade ground, dressed in a crisp charcoal-gray uniform. His military boots encase his long, straight legs, and his waterfall of long hair sways in the breeze. His voice is calm and cool.

"Everyone, I'm Lin Suiqing."

Ying Chenxiu is stunned. That's his employer, the Alliance's Chief Commander, Lin Suiqing.

There isn't a trace of Ying Chenxiu's scent on him anymore.

They meet again when Lin Suiqing's pheromone dysregulation flares up once more. Ying Chenxiu gets the message and heads to the estate. Lin Suiqing reclines on the bed and glances up coolly. "Do what you're supposed to."

The room fills with an intimate haze.

After that, Ying Chenxiu begins following Commander Lin around.

He grows more and more unable to tolerate Lin Suiqing's political enemies speaking rudely to him. He can't stand the filthy thoughts concealed in their eyes, and the moment he catches an unfamiliar scent on Lin Suiqing, he's so jealous he feels like he's going mad.

The young alpha can't help but act rashly.

Lin Suiqing knows about Ying Chenxiu's little schemes behind his back. They're harmless, and rather amusing.

Until one day, Ying Chenxiu kneels before him and says reverently:

"Lin Suiqing, choose me. I will never betray you."

And so, the Commander, who had been betrayed and left bedridden for two years, gains his most loyal follower.
