No one in the industry knew that the rising painter "Sui," Xia Huaishui, had a child of his own, a child he had given birth to.
The next stop for the exhibition "Huai Sui" is Rong City, Xia Huaishui's hometown, a place he thought he would never return to.
Something happened on the first day of the exhibition.
When Xia Huaishui arrived, he didn't see the troublemaker. Instead, he saw a round-faced little kid sitting on a chair, swinging his legs.
"You said if I bought every painting here, I could meet Sui Sui?" the little kid asked a staff member, backpack on his shoulders.
The onlookers egged things on. "That's right, kid. But can you afford them?"
The little kid rummaged through his backpack and handed over a card, perfectly composed. "I'll take every painting here. Get Sui Sui to come meet me!"
Xia Huaishui had been about to step forward, but froze when he saw the face, which looked seventy percent like Zhuang Linqian's.
A car stopped at the entrance. Zhuang Linqian strode in with a dark expression, grabbed the little kid by the scruff of the neck, and hoisted him onto his shoulder. "Zhuang Suining!"
The little kid kicked and struggled. "I'm not leaving! I haven't met Sui Sui yet! I'm not leaving!"
When the farce was over, Xia Huaishui picked up the kindergarten name tag from the floor. The ID photo tucked inside had turned slightly yellow.
So the child was a boy, and his name was Zhuang Suining.

When the exhibition ended, Xia Huaishui set off to return. As his car headed for the airport, a Maybach pulled in front of it.
Zhuang Linqian got out, yanked Xia Huaishui from the passenger seat, and demanded in a low voice, "Are you still leaving?"
"Zhuang Linqian, you said you'd give me my freedom."
Tips:
1. He, and both leads are true to themselves in mind and body.
2. This isn't a sweet pampering romance. There are mildly angsty parts and a pursuit of the one who got away.
3. The writing is terrible. Don't read if that bothers you.
4. Hope all you lovely readers have a happy day, every day!
