After the death of his white moonlight, he gets a chance for revenge. He is told it will come at a price, but the white moonlight agrees without a second thought, determined to get revenge.
He carries out his revenge with no pressure at all, never noticing any price being paid.
The white moonlight gradually lets down his guard, convinced there's nothing he can't accept.
Until, in the course of his revenge, the powerful CEO, who wasn't even part of the original story, gets dragged into it too.
As they gradually grow closer, the white moonlight watches him lose and get hurt, and finally understands what the price is.
As a child, the CEO once met the white moonlight and greatly admired the older boy who played the piano.
Twenty years later, they meet again, and both of them have changed.
He never expected to become a stepping stone for the other's revenge, taking the place of a cannon-fodder character in a melodramatic novel and nearly losing his life.
He never expected the other man to pull him out of the water, pin him to the bed, and kiss him, either.
The usually sharp and capable man kisses him while soaking wet, looking utterly aggrieved.
"If you die, I can't go on living either. I love you."
The man who knows all his tricks mercilessly calls his bluff, thinking this is just another act.
"Would you kiss a man for revenge, too?"
The man instantly stops pretending to cry and sighs as he unfastens his pants:
"But that was the truth, baby."
Then he really goes in.
Only then does the CEO, eyes red, realize he wasn't lying.
A quick note before you read:
This is not a typical groveling-after-the-breakup story. The top isn't a scumbag, and the bottom isn't secretly in love with him, but the top really does regret not loving him sooner, and the bottom really is hard to win over.
The top unknowingly kills his wife to prove his path in the early chapters, then consciously kills his path to prove his love for his wife later on.
The top and bottom are almost the same size. The bottom has broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs, a handsome and beautiful cool guy. The top is a traditional heartthrob, refined but a little bad. He's probably two or three centimeters taller than the bottom. (The author is old-fashioned: the top has to be taller.)
This may not suit extreme fans of either character. The author tries to be fair to both, which might mean pleasing neither side. I'm very protective of my characters and don't like seeing them insulted. Everything serves the plot and the development of their relationship. Each story has a different premise, and different characters suffer more, so please don't take this too seriously.
Two beautiful, powerful, tragic men come to know and love each other. At its core, this is still a story about a couple, just with a little extra melodrama. If you're okay with everything above, put your brain in storage and start reading →
