Matsubara Kurumi: ...Can I be reborn instead?

-

Sakusa wakes up one morning to find himself back in his second year of high school.

His former rivals suddenly become obsessed with the same girl.

Someone is always making strange panting noises in the locker room.

Only Komatsubara Kurumi, who has repeatedly refused to become the team's manager,

remains outside the farce, no matter what,

and even reaches out to help him when he's surrounded and chased.

But Sakusa knows that he's broken too, that he's not normal.

Whenever her fingertips accidentally brush his palm, he trembles without meaning to.

Something's not right.

But why...

Why does such a powerful, unspeakable desire keep growing?

-

Komatsubara Kurumi realizes that the potential members of the original harem are all wavering, especially since Sakusa always acts as though the heroine isn't there.

She confirms it once again.

He's different from the others.

But an unreliable harem candidate could be a close friend. For her own life, she still wants a normal, one-on-one romance.

-

Until one day, trying to save her close friend after she was framed and drugged,

she is engulfed by scorching warmth, and a hot, damp sensation brushes her ear.

Sakusa's low, husky voice, tinged with vulnerability, whispers in her ear: "Will you hold me?"

-

Kurumi finds her new boyfriend, Sakusa Kiyoomi, strange. He clearly likes her, doesn't he? He's clearly jealous, isn't he? He clearly wants her all to himself, doesn't he? He clearly has skin hunger, doesn't he?

But he always holds himself back, hiding his desire.

Why?

Following her friend Myona's advice, on the day of her coming-of-age ceremony, the carefully dressed girl looks up at him.

"Kiyoomi..."

"Why?"

"You want me so much, don't you?"

Please Hold Me, Kenma

"When skin hunger meets its very own catnip, "

Hayakawa Mei, a school idol-level beauty, has two secrets she absolutely can't let anyone find out.

First, she's living at Kozume Kenma's house, but he hates her.

Second, she suffers from skin hunger. Luckily, her symptoms have always been mild and a cuddle with her friends is enough to ease them.

But after meeting Kozume Kenma, even when her symptoms return, nothing seems to help.

Until one day, after club activities, Mei blocks his path when he's alone and bows with all her might. "Kozume, please hold me!"

-

One day, the Nekoma volleyball club goes away for a training camp, and Kenma suddenly receives a Line message. In the photo, the girl has sneaked into his room, hiding under his blanket and hugging his clothes as she sniffs them.

[Kenma, when are you coming back? I feel awful.]

[Are you an idiot?]

-

The rules Kozume Kenma sets for her:

First: No one can know.

Second: We can only talk on Line.

Hidden rule: No accepting hugs from anyone else.

A few things to know before reading:

1. Written for my own enjoyment. OOC warning! Extremely OOC warning!!

2. Pure romance means one-on-one and both are virgins.

3. The System plays a very small role. This is a slice-of-life story about a couple, and most of the blurb's plot takes place later, when they're adults.

4. All OOC moments serve the plot, especially those involving the original heroine. Please don't yell at me (hiding under a pot lid).

Theme: Simple, peaceful days are what matter most
