[Lord of the Mysteries] I'm Klein's Dog

“No. Even if I promise I won’t abandon you again, that doesn’t mean you can sleep in the same bed as me. Do you understand?”

Klein, disguised as Gehrman Sparrow, addressed the dog lying on its back with its paws in the air, his tone righteous and stern.

“But I’m just a dog, aren’t I? Susie can do it, so why can’t I? She can even go to the bathroom with Audrey.”

The dog tilted its head in confusion. “You won’t let me go to the bathroom, and I can’t sleep in your bed either...”

“Klein, do you have another dog on the side?”

“No, I don’t have another dog.” Klein fell silent. What should he do when the dog he’d raised with so much care turned out to be a fellow countryman who’d lost her memories and thought she was a dog?

**

What should you do when your owner keeps treating you like a person?

Susie: “Eve, you have to remember that we’re just dogs. It’s normal for us not to understand humans.”

“But I can divine the future, read, and dream.”

Susie shook her head. “That’s perfectly normal. I’m a Psychiatrist, too. Have you ever met a psychiatrist’s dog?”

Eve was enlightened! It was true that, like Klein, she dreamed of tall buildings and little metal boxes that could move, and she could read Roselle’s diary.

But it really was normal for everyone to have their own talents. Susie could even roam around in other people’s dreams.
