The Bright Moon Shines Not on the Gutter

A high school coming-of-age story (written three years ago, with plenty of rough edges)

Qin Mingyue can't remember her past. A piece of her memory is missing, until one day she turns around and sees a boy who seems familiar smiling at her.

But there is nothing friendly about his smile. It seems to carry... hatred and longing.

The new transfer student is always causing trouble. One day, Qin Mingyue can't take it anymore and slaps him. Her new classmate doesn't get angry. Instead, he smiles eerily, as if to say, You used to do this to me.

When they reunite, Zheng Qu chooses in that instant to reenact the entire story he once shared with Mingyue, who has lost her memories.

He wants to save himself, but he also wants Qin Mingyue to reach out and save him once again.

A kind, levelheaded, and bold heroine x a loyal, obsessive, and devoted hero
