At six, Quan Xi was found to have Omega traits, making her the only odd one out in the Quan family.
She was a stain the family didn't want to talk about, and became the butt of her relatives' jokes over tea.
The following year, her mother brought home a girl a head taller than her and said, "Quan Xi, call her big sister."
Reluctantly, Quan Xi tilted her face up and met Sang Hui's lowered gaze. From then on, she clung to her like a little tail, receiving the affection she'd been missing as a child.
Four years later, Sang Hui went abroad with her mother, leaving only a note by Quan Xi's pillow: "Wait for me to come back."
But she never came back.
That same year, Quan Xi was sent to live permanently with her grandmother outside Yize City. She tore up the note and swore never to return to the old house.

Their reunion came without warning.
When Sang Hui saw the figure surrounded by sasaeng fans at the airport, she froze. Then the crowd shoved her along, and she stumbled right in front of Quan Xi.
She raised her head, looking a little disheveled.
Quan Xi smiled cruelly. Knowing full well that Sang Hui wasn't wearing a mask, she still asked, in front of all those cameras, "A sasaeng?"
Before long, fans dug up every detail of Sang Hui's identity.
Quan Xi promptly took a role in a campus drama, and rumors about her romances spread nonstop.
But no matter how wildly she acted, Sang Hui paid no attention.
Until the Weibo hashtag #QuanXiInHeat hit the trending list.
Sang Hui hurried to Quan Xi's apartment. The moment she stepped inside, Quan Xi dragged her into a corner of the sofa, her burning body pressed tight against her as she rubbed against her again and again.
Quan Xi held the tip of her finger in her mouth and begged pitifully, "Sis, I feel awful. Help me."
Sang Hui hesitated, then finally came to her senses. In the years she'd been away, Quan Xi had long since presented as an Alpha.
An Alpha consumed by the desire to mark her.
