Young Lord

Cheng Bi, the young lord of Dongyi, is beautiful from a young age, naturally intelligent, and able to command all kinds of beasts. His people adore him.

When he comes of age and is ready to marry, he travels to Dayong to seek a princess as his consort.

Then he falls in love with Jiang Hanyuan at first sight.

His envoy advises him, "She's the Crown Princess and will inherit the throne of Dayong. How could she abandon her people and marry into another country to become its queen?"

Cheng Bi frets and sighs. "Then this young lord has no choice but to abandon his people and marry into another country to become its queen."

Another day, the envoy says, "I bribed one of the Crown Princess's attendants. This morning, the Crown Princess spoke with the Emperor about you, young lord."

Cheng Bi perks up. "What did she say about me?"

The envoy replies, "The Crown Princess said you have a big chest and no brains."

Cheng Bi is overjoyed. "So she thinks I have a big chest, too."

The envoy collapses and dies.
