Tuntun had one great dream: to become the greatest Taotie of all time.
A Taotie's greatness lies in its ability to eat.
She wanted to find the biggest prey there was. Someone told her that the largest creature in the world was the Kunpeng.
But they said the Kunpeng had gone extinct in this era, supposedly because spiritual energy had grown scarce. Tuntun wasn't in a hurry. She had a very, very long lifespan and lots and lots of time, so she could take her time looking.
One day, she came across a little fish in the ocean.
The book said it was a Kun.
Tuntun: I haven't read many books, but don't try to fool me.
Never mind. It was too small to even get stuck in her teeth, so she would raise it a little first.

Taiwei was once the greatest Kun in the world. A Kun's greatness lies in its ability to swallow.
But the great war ten thousand years ago had left him in decline. He had taken the form of a little fish and waited in the ocean for his end to come.
He never expected to run into a little Taotie.
At first, he thought he had been mistaken for a pet.
Only later did he realize he was being kept as emergency rations.
Well, then, he couldn't be blamed for showing no mercy. Today, he would let her see what true greatness looked like.
Mini-scene
Taiwei: Do you know how to eat a Kun?
Tuntun (drooling): How?
Taiwei: Start here.
Tuntun eagerly pounced and bit down on the spot he had pointed to.
