Her protective talisman activated on its own, and she and her brother stepped into the Dimension Witch's shop. Her life was saved, at the price of being unable to see her brother for ten years.

Half-Yokai Girl vs. Yokai-Exorcising Boy

One is a half-yokai girl, the daughter of a nekomata and a human. Neither pure-blooded yokai nor humans accept her, and she drifts between this world and the next.

The other is the eldest son of an exorcist family, a genius with powerful spiritual energy. He lives by the creed, "Those who are not of my kind must have different intentions," and wields a spirit blade to cut down every supernatural being.

They first met on a rainy day. With a single swing of his spirit blade, the boy exorcised the yokai that had been relentlessly pursuing her. The girl was the only one who took notice of him.

They met for the second time on another rainy day. Gravely wounded by a yokai and missing a tail, she lay dying in a shrine, but the youngest daughter of the Minamoto family found her and took her home. She named her Minamoto Angel and raised her.

They met for the third time, again on a rainy day. She had left the Minamoto family and, with help from her parents' friends, enrolled at Seagull Academy. In human form, she ran into the boy in the hallway.

Her fur was standing on end!

Minazuki Rin: Nene, don't make things up. Mine is platinum! There's a huge difference between that and gold!
