Sunny, cheerful girl × thoroughly corrupted villainous boy
Bei Yuchu wakes up one day and is taken to another world to stop Xie Shaowei, the Child of Heaven, from falling into demonic corruption and destroying the world.
But she arrives too early. The world hasn't fallen apart yet, and Xie Shaowei is so poor he can't even afford food, let alone destroy the world. He'd be lucky if he didn't get killed first.
So Bei Yuchu simply takes him as her disciple and tries to reform him, telling him to be a good Child of Heaven and stop thinking about all that nonsense.
She gives him pills and magical artifacts, teaches him cultivation techniques, and encourages him every day: "You have to cultivate properly and protect all living things!"
"You're the best! The world's counting on you to save it!"
Under Bei Yuchu's careful guidance, Xie Shaowei becomes more and more like a righteous cultivator. But just as she finally lets her guard down, she sees him do something utterly deranged.
In a dark chamber, corpses cover the floor. He stands in a pool of blood, with blood dripping from his lowered fingertips.
She turns to find a way to control him with a poison parasite.
A gale blows the night she poisons him. Bei Yuchu knocks on his door with a bright smile, saying she's brought him some nourishing medicine, and asks him to drink the poisoned tonic.
Xie Shaowei takes it, pours half into another cup, and offers it to her. "Shizun should have some too."
To avoid making him suspicious, Bei Yuchu drinks it. She took the antidote before coming, so she isn't worried.
After that, she pretends not to notice his strange behavior and continues teaching him to cultivate.
By day, she's his strict Shizun. At night, Xie Shaowei holds her in his arms. Her eyes grow unfocused as she clings to his arm and sucks the blood from his wrist. When she wakes, she remembers nothing.
Until one day, an accident reveals the demonic markings that have long been branded on him.
He was born a demon seed. There's no way to reform him!
She hurriedly packs her things and prepares to run.
But she doesn't get away.
Xie Shaowei approaches, reeking of blood, and activates the blood curse, forcing her to walk toward him. "Shizun, you shouldn't have run."
He smears his blood across his lips, tempting her to kiss and bite him. His gloomy, clinging gaze pins her in place like a venomous snake.
The night Bei Yuchu brought him the tonic, Xie Shaowei heard her thoughts:
"Nice try. After you drink this poison, you won't be able to do anything bad."
He dripped his own blood into the bowl, planted a poison parasite in her, and made her knock on his door night after night, where he could torment her.
He was a demon seed from the start. No one could save him.
