[World Six complete, final arc underway]
In short: The protagonist who needs saving picked me up as a poor little thing and took me home. So, who exactly is saving whom here...
Full version:
Ying Zhexiu, who always transmigrates into one unfortunate little character after another, falls silent when he sees the task assigned by the System.
He's been told to save the so-called "protagonist," but when he compares his own miserable circumstances to the protagonist's shiny, glamorous life, Ying Zhexiu has six points to make: ...
The System's suggested plan is for the Host to work hard and build a career, becoming the protagonist's strongest support.
Ying Zhexiu, stranded by the roadside with nowhere to go, wonders: Does this make any sense? :)
Then the protagonist cheerfully picks him up.
Protagonist: Guys, I found someone! He wants to come home with me! (excited) (looking around) (scoops him up and runs)
Ying Zhexiu makes a couple of token struggles, then resigns himself to his fate.
As for the mission to save the protagonist...
Ying Zhexiu: (just breathing)
Protagonist: Aww, he suffered so much before. I have to treat him well.
The protagonist grows more and more obsessed with doting on his partner, showing no signs of going off the rails.
Years later, the System returns to check the results of the mission and finds its Host lovey-dovey with the world's protagonist.
System: Does this make any sense?
Ying Zhexiu: It makes perfect sense. The mission's done, so let's not sweat the details.
1. An inferior omega with an incomplete gland, top x A gifted alpha, bottom
2. A lab-grown mermaid who is near death after being brutalized, top x A cool-headed researcher with skin hunger, bottom. The bottom is not in charge of the mermaid project.
3. A low-tier star nearly forced into a casting couch arrangement, top x A rich, powerful boss, bottom
4. A little cat demon who lost his demon core, top x A Sword Venerable who's a devoted cat lover, bottom
5. A miserable little zombie in the apocalypse, top x A powerful ability user and base leader, bottom
6. An extraordinarily unlucky ghost bridegroom forced into a ghost marriage, top x A priest who kicks the groom away and takes his place, bottom
7. An ill-fated little prince who can't walk, is unloved, and is in a terrible situation, top x A seemingly gentle but ruthless rising court official with a grudge against the royal family, bottom
8. A scheming player in an unlimited-flow world, top x A cheerful, flirtatious player, bottom
A top who always transmigrates into a poor little thing x A bottom who always picks people up, afraid someone else will get there first
A dramatic, sweet-on-the-outside-but-dark-inside top x A bottom obsessed with doting on his partner
One-on-one romance
1. It looks like a redemption story, but both leads are mentally stable and don't need saving. They're basically playing around with redemption tropes (?!)
2. The arcs won't necessarily follow the order in the blurb.
Coming soon: Lessons in Villainy for the Sickly, Level Ten
Fake villain: Opposes the protagonist at every turn, tries to sow discord, fails, and gets eliminated.
Real villain: Frail and sickly, makes the protagonist do the dirty work, keeps fainting and costing the protagonist money, and ultimately succeeds in driving the protagonists apart.
Full blurb:
System 179 passes its evaluation and becomes an independent tasker, able to leave its Host behind and carry out missions on its own.
It's always wanted to know what being human feels like, so the moment its certification arrives, it picks an incredibly healthy body for its mission.
As for the mission itself, 179 doesn't care in the slightest.
One second before 179 is sent into the mission world, a virus attacks it, damaging its emotion-simulation module.
The virus isn't especially harmful, but 179, now confined to a human body, can't fix the damage.
And that's not all...
Its core data is malfunctioning, so no matter how healthy its body is, it will appear sickly and weak.

A poor student from the lower district enrolls at Dawn Academy. He always wears his silver hair loose and goes about his own business.
Beautiful and sharp.
But perhaps because of the rotten nature of human genes, people always feel the urge to destroy beautiful things.
A few of the academy's privileged heirs are the first to make a move.
Privileged Heir No. 1, looking like a reckless thug, blocks Yi Qijiu's path with his lackeys and makes an unreasonable demand, acting arrogant and vicious.
Yi Qijiu's features are delicate and cold. He looks at the other man, about to deliver a classic villain line, when, for no apparent reason, he loses control of his body.
The heir catches him and frantically calls an ambulance.
Privileged Heir No. 2 seems refined and well-mannered, always polite to everyone, but in private he's a controlling man with few scruples.
He wants to corrupt Yi Qijiu, as if dragging him down from his pedestal would let them sink together.
He takes him to the underground city, intending to show Yi Qijiu something, but finds his gaze unfocused.
In the end, the heir carries him out and runs three miles to find an ambulance.
Privileged Heir No. 3 is said to be a playboy who never gets attached. He plans to seduce Yi Qijiu and then cruelly abandon him.
It would be beautiful to see that pretty face contorted in despair and heartbreak.
He takes Yi Qijiu to a bar and is about to get him drunk when he sees him clutching his chest, looking as if his heart is about to give out.
The heir then slams the emergency call button that has never been used before.
The protagonist, another student from the lower district like Yi Qijiu, manipulates the three privileged heirs throughout the story and ultimately chooses one of them as a stepping stone into the upper class. He's a deeply calculating person.
Yi Qijiu instinctively avoids dealing with him, but the protagonist keeps showing up in every corner and saying strange things to him.
There's no getting away from him, so Yi Qijiu gives up.
One day, the protagonist brings him a pot of soup to share, then uses washing off the cooking smells as an excuse to enter his bathroom.
Yi Qijiu waits a long time, but the protagonist doesn't come out, so he opens the door to check. The other man is lying on his bed, half-dressed.
Guessing the protagonist is tired, Yi Qijiu thoughtfully closes the door, gives him the bed, and goes elsewhere for the night.

The villain's mission: Drive the protagonists apart and cause trouble for them.
Yi Qijiu thinks the task will be easy, but his plans keep getting derailed, and he doesn't manage to accomplish anything.
Yet when the mission results come in, Yi Qijiu is surprised to find that the four protagonists inexplicably hate one another, as if they have some earth-shattering grudge between them.
Yi Qijiu: OVO
Looks like I won't need to get another certificate after all.
1. The protagonist is a real human-shaped machine. He has an emotion module, but it's broken.
2. Later on, the protagonist tries experiencing human emotions, but in the end he returns to the Administration Bureau and moves on to his next mission. He's a system, after all. OvO
3. Since the body he chose is healthy, he doesn't feel unwell when his symptoms occur. It's more like his connection to his body is bad, or even cut off. He'll be fine once the signal comes back.
Theme: Never give up hope, even in adversity.
When will it be updated?
Press paw, press paw, touch big
Hey yo, your brother Xing is going to explode.
I love watching stars and am crazy hahahahahahaha
Xiao Ying won't be the hidden boss of the dungeon (I'm guessing haha), but Xiao Ying is a sacrifice and has been sacrificed. This should be certain. I think Xingxing must have guessed that Xiao Ying is not simple, but he probably just thinks that Xiao Ying is pretending to be a pig and eating a tiger, and he is accompanying Xiao Ying here [Let me be healthy] So whether Xiao Ying is an NPC or a boss 🥺 I am more inclined to the boss [Let me be Kang Kang]
Touch the big one, 🤩 🤩, remember to take a good rest when you are tired, just do your best! 😚
