The Pretty Little Cutie Was Mistaken for a Canary

Blurb:

After graduating, Lin Baimiao hides the fact that he's a fan and becomes his idol's assistant. But Jiang Zhouhan, who suffers from skin hunger, mistakes him for a kept boy his friend found for him.

Jiang Zhouhan: “How much did he say you'd cost?”

Lin Baimiao: “Six thousand a month...”

Jiang Zhouhan looks at his pretty face. “Six thousand, not six hundred thousand?”

Lin Baimiao thinks he's joking. “Well, this is my first job, and the pay is already really good! I'm happy with it.”

Jiang Zhouhan: “You think of this as a job? How many jobs have you had before?”

Lin Baimiao thinks for a moment. “I started working for you after I graduated, so you're my first employer. But I've had a few short-term part-time jobs...” (Like working at a convenience store.)

Jiang Zhouhan is stunned. “Part-time jobs?”

At first, Jiang Zhouhan was annoyed that his friend had taken it upon himself to find him a kept boy and wanted to kick Lin Baimiao out. But seeing him like this, he imagined the boy must have come from a broken home and was desperate for money. If Jiang Zhouhan didn't keep him, he would surely go looking for someone else.

Jiang Zhouhan: “Take this card. I'll give you two hundred thousand a month from now on. Gifts and shopping are extra. My situation is a little special, so I need you by my side every day, ready to meet my needs at any time. I know you don't like me, but you still have to act like you do.”

Lin Baimiao: “Huh? You can get a deal like this? Is this some kind of employee benefit? I get to work and sleep with my idol?”

His manager lets out a piercing shriek: “What did you do to the assistant I hired for you!?”

In Jiang Zhouhan's eyes: He's forcing Lin Baimiao into a relationship, and Lin Baimiao is just putting up with it.

In Lin Baimiao's eyes: This is an employee benefit, a windfall from heaven!
