The Scheming Little Green Tea Became a Top-Tier Star's Canary

Shen Chengyu was a nobody from the eighteenth tier of showbiz. While appearing on a variety show, he deliberately piggybacked on a top-tier star's popularity, deliberately promoted a ship between them, said suggestive things, wore matching accessories, and gazed at the star with loving eyes for long stretches at a time.

Originally set to be eliminated after a single episode, the unknown little celebrity got enough buzz from the ship that the production team renewed his contract for several more episodes. Just as he was congratulating himself, the top-tier star knocked on his door.

Top-tier star: “So you've finally decided to be with me?”

Shen Chengyu: “Huh?”
