(Complete, so read with confidence~~~)
Blurb 1:
Zhou Jinyi never expected to stay alive. On the day she wanted to end it all, a young couple downstairs was still screaming at each other over, "Do you love me or not?" She wanted to tell them that if it wasn't working, they should just break up. Then she drew her hand back dejectedly. She'd forgotten: she was mute.
She felt numb toward life. Every day, she was exhausted and listless, letting self-loathing consume her. Later, someone gently wiped away her tears. At night, a low voice told her fairy tales by her bedside, while a strong pair of hands held her back, making her reluctant to leave this world.
Blurb 2:
Jiang Ji, the heir to the Jiang family of Nancheng, is composed and strikingly handsome. At a young age, he became the head of the Jiang Corporation.
Everyone knows Jiang Ji dislikes the Zhou family, and dislikes even more the mute woman who crashed into his car. He coldly presents her with an agreement, hoping she'll take the compensation and stop clinging to him.
Later, the socialites of Nancheng see Jiang Ji clinging to a mute woman, following behind her and begging for scraps of affection, desperate for her to spare him a glance.
Blurb 3:
At a gathering in their social circle one day, the socialites assume that someone as aloof as Jiang Ji would never say cheesy things, even if he fell in love. It's hard to imagine the words of love that might come from that cold, chaste face.
As they pass the glass greenhouse, they see Jiang Ji bent over, his head resting in the hollow of Zhou Jinyi's neck. His low, hoarse voice rings out: "I'm happy every day. Seeing you happy makes me happy, and when you're not here, I feel sad. But thinking about seeing you fills me with anticipation. You're never a burden. I'm the one who's a burden to you, making you worry and feel afraid."
At last, he hugs Zhou Jinyi tightly, as if he won't stop until they're fused together, bone and blood. His voice is pitiful and plaintive as he begs:
"Hold me. Don't forget the way home, and don't forget that I love you so, so much."
His hair brushes her cheek and ear, making them tingle faintly. But more than that, a scorching warmth dampens her neck, trickles down to her collarbone, then spreads lower, setting her heart ablaze like a flower in bloom.
Author's content warnings: Includes the term "baby" as a pet name; the heroine is mute; genuinely melodramatic romance and bittersweet angst. The medical details are not realistic. If you're ill, please seek medical care. That's all for now. If these things aren't for you, please skip this one. Thanks for understanding.
The heroine is mute at first and will recover later, but not completely.
Coming soon: The Villainess Supporting Character Doesn't Want to Live
Blurb: 1v1, both leads are sexually inexperienced. A frail heroine who doesn't want to live but treats everyone equally by dragging them down with her X a hero who wants to break off their arranged marriage but is convinced he's winning her over
The original male and female leads won't be villainized. The heroine transmigrates into the book, and from the beginning to the end, she's just herself; she doesn't take anyone else's place.
Xu Mian died on the operating table.
After her death, she transmigrated into a book and became a vicious cannon-fodder supporting character. In the story, she fakes an accident to get close to a rich heir, competes with the heroine for the male lead, and uses her family background to win everyone's pity and attention. When her schemes are exposed, everyone despises her, and she dies in a car accident.
On her first day in the book, Xu Mian's nose starts bleeding in front of the male and female leads, frightening them both. She casually wipes it away, but before she gets far, she collapses and is taken to the hospital.
Xu Mian has been promised in marriage since childhood to the current heir of the illustrious Shen family of the capital, Shen Yuechuan. On the first day they meet, Shen Yuechuan offers her compensation and says they should have nothing to do with each other after that.
Xu Mian has no objections. Before she can answer, her illness begins tormenting her again, and she collapses in front of Shen Yuechuan, landing in the hospital for a second time. This time, Shen Yuechuan pays not only the compensation, but also all her medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and living expenses. The more he thinks about it, the more he feels something is off.
Endless injections and pills. Xu Mian has never been able to enjoy her own life, and the long years of illness have worn away any desire to survive. The skies are clear and the breeze is gentle outside, and every day her urge to leave grows stronger.
Shen Yuechuan clasps her hand tightly, calling her name over and over. The man who has always held his head high bows it and begs, afraid that she'll leave the moment he lets go.
"Xu Mian, Xu Mian, Mianmian."
"Mianmian, listen to my voice and keep walking forward, okay? Please don't leave me all alone, Mianmian."
His voice turns dry and hoarse as he calls out, just to light the path ahead for the woman he loves. He thinks that with every call, Mianmian might take one more step forward. He brings every beautiful thing he can find before her, wanting her to feel warmth and hoping to keep her with him.
The everlasting lamp in the ancient temple burns year-round. A figure kneels before the Buddha, refusing to rise. His forehead is red from knocking against the floor, almost as if it were bleeding. In a low voice, he begs the gods to bless his beloved with good health and a smooth life.
Content warnings: Frail heroine, some group pampering. The illness is made up with no real medical basis, so please don't scrutinize it too closely. The leads have flaws and are not perfect people.
The original male and female leads won't be villainized. Some parts may feel like needless angst, so feel free to skip this story if it's not to your taste.
The illness takes up a large portion of the story. If you can't handle that, feel free not to read; parts of it are angsty and painful.
Theme: Love yourself amid the bustle and ordinary joys of life
To be overwhelmed by despair. . . Who will save her?
I have such a strong sense of morality, and that's why my life is so tiring.
